I do not know what to say but I think the injuries are too hazardous for us to play. Howard looks to give everything he can every night and has been the biggest game keeper for the Wings. Besides, since our main 3 scorers: Cleary, Zetterberg, and Franzen as being gone at this point, I cannot expet the Wings to have a success in offensive zone. One thing I like is that the team looks to play with much better effort than the last season. However, if Zetterberg does not return in a short time, I think we can be in a serious position. By the standing, there is not much big gap from first rank to 12th rank. The Wings are still in good shape of being in the playoff with a sufficient amount of point. I just now nope there will be no injuries anymore.

To start, I did not watch the game so I do not know how our D has performed tonight but here is a thing. Since late 80s and 90s and till 2008 when we won the cup, strong defenses were the reasons the Wings could reach such a high level every season. Some journalists called this team would not do well every year but our D bailed ur out. However, I am really starting to feel scary of our defenses. Be honest, since the start of the last season, I think our D is not even close to the high level of the NHL. Well, some teams like Coyotes always perform bad so they are the exceptions but compared to high rank teams, I think our D is far behind from their level. I think the destruction of our D has started since Rafalski has come to this team. Be honest, from my view, he is better in last year than this year. This guy takes 6 milllion salary but he does not even play to the level of 4 million D. Besides, as Kronwall and Stuart looked to play far better than the last year, Kronwall just got injured. Now, who is the pair of Stuart? If we see the name value of our D, it looks like a strong defense. On the other hand, as I watch the Wings game more and more, I really cannot feel any confidence in our D as before. When people with even many Wings fans thought the Wings would do bad in 06-07 season, our offenses were not that strong but our D could keep us in the game. Now what? Lost all the FA during the summer off season and doing horrible now even with consideration of the injuries. Just got out skated every time, slow, and wondering during the PK. Any thought?

I am really happy I did not watch this game. I hope some optimists finally have realized this team is in trouble. Where are those people who say the Wings did not play full effort game if they lose? Gotta be sharp to see this team. This team has injuries, lack of defenses, crappy pk, and becoming one line team

Howard was crazy tonight. I did not expect the Wings to outplay the canucks because it was back to back game. Whatever, we won and i am satisfied with this one

You cannot compare Ericsson and Lebda because Ericsson is challenging the first regular season of the NHL while Lebda is not. Be honest, I never saw any Wings player playing worse than Lebda on the same position. I would just put Kindl on Lebda's spot. Waive him up.

First of all, there is no reason we bash Holland. He has nothing to do with injuries for key players. You cannot go out and trade or sign some 2nd and 3rd line offenses now. Franzen and Filppula are out by other teams, not by Holland. I did not watch the game but the game clearly showed the score the Wings got dominated. Compare to last season, at the same time, the Wings looked to play better although last year's team won more games due to the offensive power. I will wait until the end of November, the time is yet to panic. People should calm down and watch more.

It is quite funny some people say he was ONLY good last night. By the stats, Osgood and Howard had been terrible together. Since two games in Sweden, Osgood got back his form and played enough good until the last night. Howard, on the other hand, did not get many chances to start as Osgood got, but looked like he has potential to be the starting goalie during last two games. The goalie needs much time to develop. Sometimes it looks funny when Howard and Osgood both perform bad and come here to say For Osgood: well.. he will turn around in the playoff and there is time to go, Let's wake up Ozzie. For Howard: f***, trade him, how much more time do we have to spend on this kid? Be patient guys

The thing is he does not look any different than the early of the last season. I mean, he had some good games but he has too many sub par game so far. The last night was not his night but i mean, although with such a bad condition on the specific day, how could he allow those goals. I am not bashing Osgood but I am really frustrated to watch him perform great in the playoff while he plays so many sub par games during the season.

Not by a score, but overall, good game and really satisfied. Some terrible turnovers and penalties but our offenses look to reform a bit against one of top goalies in the NHL. The only thing I want more is more production from Filp line although they played good. Too bad Osgood let some weak goals but hopefully he bounces back quickly. Go Wings
