Everyone was overrating Leino and Helm. Helm is typically a future 3rd or 4th liner and the goal Leino made against the Caps last year just made him a super potential young player. So many people here are in the concept every player has a red wings uniform can surely score 25 goals if they play with Zetterberg and Datsyuk, who are not performing to the level people expected

This^^ But I caanot think Zetterberg is playing like the team's best player. He is playing good but not scoring goals, which has been the issue of this team, not a goaltending

Now, I hope some optimists can seriously think the Wings are THAT Bad. It is not somewhat they do not put the full effort. If not, there is no responsibility the fans call them as PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS. This is getting ridiculous. I knew the Wings would be even worse than the last season but not this much. Gotta be super ugly

No one is saying the Wings will not make the playoff. But this team will not go any far. Gotta be lucky if the Wings pass the first round. I hope now some optimists finally reconsider how terrible this team is now.

I just got home and saw some previous pages the members wrote. What I have been concerning this season is that I do not think our goalies suck. In a way, they are playing better than I expected. Just fix some crap turonvers and defenses.

I think we will still make the playoff but not more than the 2nd round. Be honest, it would be ridiculouis the Wings will win the cup by these defenses. I think we will finish around 7th or 8th in the Western conference. Last alomost 20 years, the Wings have been the best team but everyone knew the one time would surely come that the Wings find a tough time. This year must be the year. I am not expecting anything from this season. What I am hoping is our young players grow and develop in a quick time and play well together with our core players.

The current status is told by the performance done each day. The Wings' performance for the last game is for the bottom level of NHL. We have some good players and the Wings look to form back to its own hockey, but their defenses still look terrible.

Come back to this thread after few more games. Luongo is top 5 goalies in the NHL. Ozzie was great last game but one game does not prove who is better and who is worse. I know Luongo is a bit overrated but he is better than Ozzie although he has never won the cup. If he was in any good team, which has balanced offenses and defenses, he could surely win the cup.

Milestone has reached 1000 points finally. It is nearly impossible for defenses to score over 1000 points throughout the career. Go Nick~

The one reason Homer is still valuable is PP. I hope we can see our ZDH with full energy again. Bertuzzi does not fit with Pasha and Hank out there
