I'd kill to see that happen, but unfortunately, I think you and I are in the minority.

Dear Nick, I have two very vivid memories of you. First is when you scored that goal from center ice against Vancouver in '02. I looked at my husband and said, "This changes everything. We're going to win it all." I remember where I was, and that memory will always be a strong one. But the best moment is one that you gave me two years ago at training camp. You walked by where we sat, stopped and took off your gloves to pet our service dog, Loki. You stood there and talked to us, petted Loki, and even let me get a pic of you. It was a simple gesture, I'm sure you didn't think anything of it. But to the two of us, it was indicative of the kind of person you are - classy, kind and wonderful. Thank you, Nick. You will be missed. Good luck, and good journeys. Always, Pat and Terry (and Loki too!)

I was thinking the same thing. I don't know about third time being the charm, but hey...

Gee, you think Cheli might come back too? Knowing what a workout demon he is, and seeing that he's not in bad shape, who knows???

If Pasha took Semin under his wing, I would think that the discipline problem would straighten itself out. Congrats to Pasha!
-
Nice to see Pasha get a goal. I wish I could watch the games. Why did they block USA out of seeing the games?
-
Man, I would hate to be a Vancouver cop tonight. That being said, I have three words for them: SO LONG, SUCKERS!
-
Thank you for this. It takes a very classy person to admit that their team's fans can be cold and cruel. In all the years I've been a Wings fan, I've never heard our fans do anything like that. Yeah, we boo certain players when they have the puck (Hossa and Fedorov come to mind), but you won't hear our fans doing the kind of stuff they were doing in Nashville. I like to think we're above that.

That's one of them I was at too. Wish I had known you were there. I liked seeing Nordique fans at the last game of the season. It was nice to meet some really good, passionate fans of the game, and everyone I talked to were polite and really cool. Their hatred of Montreal was something else!

I'd love to see Paul win it all. But other than that, it's pretty much done for me. My housemate is a Bruins fan, so she'll be rooting her guys on, but for me, I think my apathy is running rampant right now.
-
Well, if the Islanders move west, and a team moves East, maybe it will be Phoenix, and they will go to Quebec, which would make the Nordique fans I met at the last game of the season very happy. Who knows? I guess I'll have to talk to my Islanders fan friend on Long Island and see what he says.

I loved being at the Valentine's Day game when #21 went into the books. It was fun. I also got to see my first two shootouts this year. Watching Pasha in the shootout was great...you didn't know what he was going to do, but you knew whatever it was, it would be interesting. But I honestly have to say that the best moment for me happened at camp. Getting a hug from Pasha (HE initiated it, by the way) is something I will cherish forever. Seeing him wearing Ruslan Salei's number at camp was one of the most beautiful gestures I've ever seen a player do, and I won't forget that. Thanks, guys...it's going to be a long summer.

He gets two and Weber gets a slap on the wrist. Pretty disheartening.

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

And you want this douchenozzle on the Wings??? There isn't any amount of attitude adjustment that would make me change my feelings towards this idiot. -
Pretty pathetic...they can't even win a draft lottery.
-
We were at the game yesterday when they were there. I got to talk to some of them, and I wished them good luck getting a team back. They were incredibly kind, polite and wonderfully nice. Loud and rowdy too, but for a good cause. I do hope they get a team back...with fans who are willing to drive 14 hours for a game, that says something about their loyalty. In the meantime, I meant what I said to some of you - you're welcome back anytime.
-
Talk to ChelisChik...she's been to a ton of Preds games, since she's from Tennessee. Bet you she can find them. The war is beginning nicely. You are all so much more creative than I am.

How pathetic. You tell the truth and you're a)made to apologize, and b)fined 20 big ones. Can we start a fund to pay his fine? For telling the truth he shouldn't be fined - he should be congratulated.
-
Sad when you have to apologize for telling the truth.
-
No, but he's the one that gets shoved down our throats and treated like he's the second coming.
-
Thanks for the backup...you said what I would have said, but you beat me to it. Much obliged.
-
I couldn't have said it better. Yeah, Milbury might be a douchebag at times, but this time he's right on the money. This double set of rules for one person and then the rest of the league is getting way too old. If you act like a spoiled kid, you should expect to get punished for it. He deserved what he got. I wish someone would line him up and knock him into next week.
-
I was there. Wasn't exactly the brightest move he's ever made. It's gonna get him a couple for sure.

I miss Patrick on the penalty kill...I hope he can make it back next season.
