I can't say anything bad about them...I have a friend who works for the group that owns the team, and she said she'd put us in a luxury suite anytime we want to come down for a game. I won't bite the hand that feeds me. Besides, I always wondered how many (rubber) rats you can get in the Cup. -

As much as I love my housemate, the little douchebaggery of Tim Thomas turned me off on Boston. I don't think we need b.s. like that again. Sorry roomie, but Boston goes on the list. -
Okay, we got tickets for that game. So, since it's a 4PM game, do you want to go for lunch ahead of time, or dinner after? Me personally, I vote for dinner after, but I defer to you all.

Oh God...it's a long list. Vancouver, Pittsburgh, San Jose, St. Louis, Anaheim (not that there's any chance of that one), Chicago. If we can't win it, well, then I would love to see Winnepeg get it - how wonderful that would be for them. I almost forgot Nashville. They wouldn't know what to do with it if they had it. -
It just shows that deep inside, he's a very cerebral person and hockey player. But the things he said about his parents got to me, because I know where he's coming from on that one. Pasha, you're not the only one who wishes for one more dinner with their parents. And I know your mom, and your dad, are watching over you. They are a part of you - a very indelible part.

If you're planning on April 1st, I am okay with that. I'll pass it on to the boss. Someone give me a call and let me know for absolute sure, if you would please, so I know whether I can get tickets to the game or not. Sheri, Loo and Kristi all have my number, but I need to know ASAP.

In the box for Toys for Tots this past Christmas someone put in two Gordie Howe bobbleheads in the original boxes, and also a couple Norm Cash (Tigers) bobbleheads in the original boxes. I wanted to cry, and take them out of the box. How could someone do something like that??? And an update on our friend Zac (aka Rage)...the surgery went well, and he's up, eating, and in good spirits. YAY!!

As this is written, Zac is in surgery. They are supposed to give an update about 40 minutes from now, so I'll find out what's up. Meantime, keep a good thought for him.

I don't know who's going to read this, but our friend and fellow poster Rage (aka Zac) is facing open heart surgery tomorrow at the University of Michigan. If you are so inclined, say a prayer or two. At the very least, please keep a kind thought for him. Love ya, buddy!

I was never a Montreal fan, but I grew up watching Jean Beliveau. He's a class act. As my housemate said, when he and Gordie Howe leave us, it will be the end of an era. You'll not see their like ever again.

The part about the balloons just turned me into jello, and I cried. I also watched the story about it on "Real Sports" on HBO. There was almost a cavalier attitude on the part of the guy from the KHL that they talked to. I understand why she's looking for someone to be mad at. They said that she should get some money next month. I hope she does. It was also good to see Barry Smith - I wonder what he's doing these days? Apparently he's not coaching in Russia.

And now it looks like he's started the rehab already. "I looked in my locker and didn't find any tickets to Florida." We can't put life on hold, dear boy, and there is no pause button. So we soldier on. You'll be back soon - I know it.
