Holmstrom to return on Wednesday & Flip to get MRI on knee
Kira replied to HockeytownRules19's topic in General
Well, maybe things are finally looking up. It's gonna take a few games to get everyone back in sync, but it's gonna be nice to get some healthy bodies back. -
As stated in "Pirate Radio"..."Spoken like a five-star chicken." Of course, Andrew Ference comes out and says his teammate was wrong, and gets raked over the coals for it. I shouldn't be surprised that no one wants to come out and tell the truth about Cooke. Someone is going to get him. I don't know who, and I don't know when, but it's gonna happen. And it won't be pretty when it does. But if he expects to get sympathy when and if it happens, the only place he's gonna find it is the dictionary.

Matt Cooke is a repeat offender. He should be dealt with in appropriate fashion. I know it won't happen, but I just wonder how long it's going to take, or how many guys he puts out of the game with injuries before someone realizes this. I don't believe in head hunting, but in his case, I would make an exception.

That brings back memories...

"I don't know if they missed me or not." Pasha, how could you ever think you were not missed?

Finally, a reason to smile on a Monday! Happy happy joy joy!

Thank God for the mute button and the radio. Too bad Emrich was not one of the fired ones. Now I suppose we'll have to suffer with someone like Roenick between periods/ benches. I'll shoot myself if I have to see that ugly mug.

Take your time, Pasha...as much as I know you are restless and you want to play, you were right in saying that there was no sense in coming back before you were ready. Patience is a virtue, dear heart...so have some.

Datsyuk & Holmstrom more than likely won't play this weekend

As much as I want Pasha back, I totally understand his feelings about it. If he doesn't feel comfortable yet, that's how it is. He knows his limitations more than we ever could. So take what time you need, sweetie, and we'll be just that much more grateful when you do return. -
That's like comparing apples to oranges. They're two totally different mindsets and attitudes. I have a lot more respect for Johan than I ever did Fedorov. And you'll never see Johan getting speeding tickets in a Ferrari. He's just not that type. No conceit.

Prolong my agony, why dontcha??? Actually, I understand why he wants to wait. Patience is something I've had to learn over time, so I guess I can wait a little longer to see Pasha again. Damn, it will be nice to get some healthy bodies back!

Well, you know what they say...artists are never appreciated in their own time. And as far as Pasha being the second smartest player in the league, I'm sorry, but he's got more smarts in the fingernail of his pinky than that thing in Pittsburgh could ever dream of having in his whole body - ever.

Of course they hate our boards. We know how to utilize them to their best advantage, and we use them to hurt the other teams. They're just jealous that they don't know the secret to them.

Datsyuk Taken off IR, Emmerton and Mursak sent back to GR

Oh, who cares about the technicalities??? Welcome back, Pasha. You were missed more than you'll ever know. -
Now, Corey Perry might give you know who a run for the money.

Timing and presence is everything. Claude Lemieux is a thing of the past (and I use the term "Thing" very loosely). The creature who will not be named is, unfortunately, shoved down our throats constantly at this time. I'd give anything to have ONE DAY without hearing his name mentioned, seeing his face on my tv or reading about him. I would swear, if that happens, that I was in an alternate universe. And frankly, you'd have a hard time getting me to leave were that the case. Oh, I'm sure that Mr. Lemieux will have his share of haters show up. But even Chris Pronger is higher on my list than Claude is. And he's not even included in the poll.
-
It's still a double standard. Our guys were supposed to show up even if they were dead. Sorry, but you don't get it both ways.
-
I couldn't hate Jiri Hudler if I wanted to. He's too nice. Kinda like trying to hate a puppy. I just can't do it. Now he who will not be named (who is winning this poll in a landslide) - I say let's avoid the rush and banish him now. Then again, I can't think of a place I hate enough to banish him to. Damn.
-
I agree whole heartedly with you on this, but unfortunately it will not come to pass. Why? Because Cindy is Gary Buttman's little angel and he can do no wrong. I'm sick of this double standard bs - you did it to us without a care in the world, you either do it uniformly or you don't do it at all.

This is what I have missed for the past four weeks. A reason to smile. Feb. 2nd is my brother-in-law's birthday, but I get the present.

Somehow, the thought of a good thick book to read is looking better and better. Then again, it would be a damned good time to clean off my DVR and get my games over to disk.
-
This has been a recurring soap opera...will he, won't he, can he, can't he...enough already. One way or the other, make up your damned mind what you're gonna do...either play or go away. Preferably the latter, but whatever.

Really...stay tuned for the latest episode of "As the Stomach Turns".

This makes my head hurt.
