Well, he has a mixed martial arts guy at his summer camp every year, so maybe he got some pointers from him. Couldn't hurt and you never know when you might need that skill.

I honestly don't think this is going to become standard practice, but at least he stood up for himself - quite well, I must say. You don't have to start the fight, but you damn sure should finish it.

I never thought I would live to see that day that happened. I'm wondering what the aforementioned Mr. Cherry is going to say as well. He'll probably try ripping Pasha apart for picking on his "good Canadian boy", when what he should do is give credit where credit is due, and give Pasha his props. Me, I'm proud of him for standing up and giving just as well as he took. I think he did himself proud. He didn't start the fight but he damn well finished it. I'm proud of you, sweetie.

I've a feeling this was coming for some time. Anaheim can't stand getting their asses handed to them by a bunch of "old" men, and their frustrations hit the overflow bin. So what do they do? Pick fights with guys who don't need to fight to prove themselves. And all they did was make themselves look like the damned fools they are. Classless bunch of cretins. I can't wait to see what Don Cherry has to say about this.

You are allowed into the arena an hour before game time. I always get to where I'm sitting and then head down to ice level for pics. I stake out my spot early. Favorite spot is right next to the penalty box. I usually do pretty good there for pics.

I think a lot of what happened came about because of frustration on the part of the Sucks. They thought if they gooned it up and hurt our guys it would make them look good. It didn't work. All it did was make them look like a bunch of damned fools.

Well, as the boys from Athens GA used to sing, "It's the end of the world as we know it." Just when you think you've seen everything, Pasha pulls out another little trick from the magic bag. Damn, boy, you make me shake my head in bewilderment sometimes.

I swear, if I hadn't seen this game with my own eyes, I'd have thought for sure I was in an alternate universe. Pasha is the last soul I would have ever thought to get a Gordie Howe hat trick - on opening night, no less! This is already shaping up to be a very interesting season!

I am hoping it's Pasha who scores the first goal. I have a bet going on it. No money involved, but dinner is. The loser of the bet has to cook dinner for the winner. The other party is betting on Henrik. Watch, we'll both be wrong and it will be someone like Cleary or Bertuzzi. Then we go dutch out to eat.

That sounds about par for the course for Pasha. I love that his sense of humor (warped as it is) is coming to the surface. By the way, the dog that Ken Kal is petting is my dog Loki...he filmed that up at camp.
