I honestly don't think Glenn Hall's record will ever come close to being broken. Goalies are not expected to be such iron men these days. My housemate came up with one too...Bobby Orr's plus-minus record of a +136 for a season.

I tend to wonder if this is a hockey team we're talking about or a rescue shelter for unwanted mutts.
-
He's not worth waiting for. Let some other team have him, and we'll get down to business.
-
You had to know this was going to happen. My only question is this: how many more of these long term deals might be scrutinized and found to be a little shady?
-
August 5th, eh? When are they gonna learn this guy ain't worth waiting for??? You have better things to do than kissing Modano's ass.
-
I'm a little skeptical about this contract. Yeah, it's not that big of a hit, but the length of it makes me wonder.

Happy birthday to you too, Shaman! :beerbuddy:

I've met him. He just doesn't seem the type to take a "cheap" way out of doing something. He strikes me as a person who takes things seriously and really means to do them right. It's just something about him that comes across that way.

Happy birthday, mo cushla. Thank you for all the times you've made me smile, laugh, cry, drop my jaw in amazement, and scream my head off. And thank you for giving me a reason to come to Traverse City every September. I'm looking forward to it again. I hope your birthday is as wonderful as you are.

You know, if Stevie keeps this up, he's gonna be considered the Eastern Conference's answer to Ken Holland.
-
I must say that's a nice little feather in Stevie's cap. But considering the tutors that he had to learn from, I'd say he did alright.
-
No disrespect, but I hope you have to wait a long, long time for that to happen...like, never.
-
Unfortunately I cannot get them to play. But I know he's got smoother moves than a con artist - he always has.

Spent today in a boat cruising up and down the Saginaw River between Bay City and Saginaw. Saw tall ships, snowy egrets, great blue herons and two bald eagles. Nice day to be out...I only wish we had a Red Wings flag to fly on board.

My housemate had never seen the March 26, 1997 game in its entirety, so I brought it out and put it on for her the other night. She loved it.

Kinda blew my mind seeing them work together last year. I don't know who was trying to change who's game, but...hear tell they had a mixed martial arts guy there too...now, what does that imply???

"This is my ride in the Cup parade? Go figure."

That little bastard should be paying us to keep his job.

Somehow this does not surprise me at all.

First of all, the enrollment process at any university is a bunch of bs...take it from a veteran of such things. Second of all, being a "non-traditional" student (anyone over age 25) has its advantages - and one of them is usually a rather edited version of the enrollment hoopla. As to the camp, I'm kind of surprised and happy that Derek has decided to return to help. It is interesting what part he played last year at the camp, and also that Pasha had a mixed martial arts person working with them as well. Unique, to say the least. One other thing about being a non-traditional student. Instructors either love you to pieces or think you're the biggest asshat on the planet. Why? Because you can either add to what they are teaching with your own life experiences, or you can debunk them totally. I loved it.

Out on our boat...but also going through old DVDs of games on rainy days. I have Direct TV and I live in Michigan...what do you need to know? PM me and I'll try to give you the answer.

I was at the game with Nashville when he picked Kline's pocket and put it in just as nice as you please. My jaw hit the floor. Even my husband sat there and said, "I don't believe he did that." And it takes a lot to impress him. It happened right down from where we were sitting. Everybody in that section was going crazy, and I swear, if I could have jumped on that ice, I would have hugged him right then and there. Amazing is not even close to descriptive enough for Pasha. I don't think there is a word in any language that could describe him.
-
That is not only a NO but that is an "Oh HELL NO!"
-
I don't think he'd take a cheap way out like that. I think he's really serious about this and he'll do it right. I don't believe he would do it any other way.

I'm proud of him for doing this...and I know he'll graduate summa cum laude. Congrats, Pasha!
