I would love to see it happen. I have a feeling, though, that the powers that be won't see it the way we do. As far as the PK, I watch Darren and Patrick out there and they remind me of watching Kirk Maltby and Kris Draper do the same thing. We all know how lethal a PK pairing they have been. Now we have a new version of Malts and Drapes. Add in Drew Miller and we've got a pretty damn good trio of fellows out there. So that takes a weight off of guys like Pasha and even Henrik as far as having to kill penalties. I know Pasha's numbers have been down all season, but whose hasn't???

There is one goal I'd love to see Pasha hit before the end of this season...that is 600 career points. He's 7 goals away from 200...and 13 assists away from 400. That's only 20 points. I can see this happening. Whatever else he can get beyond that is cherries on the cheesecake for this season, but I really want to see him hit this plateau. Right now he has also cracked into the top 10 of all-time Red Wings scorers, and by next season he'll unseat Brendan Shanahan for the #8 spot. Not bad for the time he's been here.

If this is really true that he took one for the team, not only would I welcome him back, but I'd be waiting at the airport with roses.

I'm not surprised this was the outcome. And watch - when they play next week, Cooke will mysteriously come up with an injury so he doesn't play in the game. How much do you wanna bet???

Why do I have the God awful feeling that Cooke is gonna get off scot free and the Bruins are gonna be without their star player for a lengthy amount of time? The way they're hemming and hawing tells me that he's gonna get by without even a slap on the wrist. Now if it had been Crysby or someone like that, they would have thrown the book at the person who hit him, but because it's "only" a Boston player, Cooke is gonna skate away laughing about it and nothing will happen. Leaves an awful feeling in the pit of my stomach.

We always park across the street from the RenCen in the Port Atwater garage. It's 6 bucks, and a sheltered walk from the garage to the People Mover. Never had a problem.

I don't know much about the Greektown situation...we always go to Park Atwater and walk through the Ren Cen to the People Mover. I'll be at the game Thursday night too...if you're so inclined, I'll be down by the ice near the penalty box shooting pics during the pregame skate. It would be nice to meet a fellow LGW'er.

We'll be at the game on the 24th too. I go down by the penalty box to shoot pregame pics...I seem to have good luck down there. You were there too??? So was I. We were sitting in section 110...Pasha scored that sweet goal right in front of us. I damn near jumped on that ice and kissed him for that one. That was sweet.
