Malts did what needed to be done...and having Andreas back will be nice. He's been sorely missed on penalty kills...the man knows how to block shots. I think maybe everyone will step up and finish on a high note. It's been a tough season, no doubt about it. Everyone's stats have taken major hits. But we'll do the best we can.

I don't blame Mike Babcock. As the old saying goes, you gotta dance with those what brung you. And considering what he brought to the table, there's too much potential to screw up and play like a weekend bar league. Which is just what they're doing. They need to park their egos at the door and concentrate on what brought them there.

Thornton is about as welcome as a cockroach on a wedding cake. There's a damned good reason that Boston parted ways with him. He's proving they were right and we can thank God we didn't trade Pasha for that d-bag.

It really isn't all that slow a game...there is so much strategy and mind playing involved...love it. And I'm with you - once every four years is not enough. Direct TV needs to add the CBC.

Oh hell yes, I'm watching...every session is on my DVR and I'm loving it. The only problem I have is this - who in the hell decided what the Norwegian team is wearing? Have you seen those pants they are wearing? First thought on seeing them - Ringling Brothers is going to call...the clowns want their wardrobe back.

This works out the best for both Homer and Johan. Remember when Nik went last time in a replacement position and was willing to give his medal to the one he replaced? They gave them both one. I wonder if they might do that this time? Probably not, but it would be nice.

Yes, I'm biased. I want Russia to win. I want to see Pasha up on that podium getting a gold medal. I think if he does, I'll probably have tears in my eyes...but I'll be so damned proud of him. My money is on Russia and Sweden. Sorry, Stevie, I love ya, but your team has no one on it I like.

I'll tell you what, if he'd have hit that shot from between the legs, I would have jumped through the ceiling. That move was pretty cool. And it didn't look like he even looked when he got that deflection goal. I had to rewind it a couple times to look at it again. Unbelievable.

Good to see Nik back tonight. And Johan is looking good. Nice thought - Pasha is now 9th on the list of all-time Wings scorers...and he's only 29 points away from 600 career points. That's not bad. Next on the list is Brendan Shanahan. It might take Pasha a bit to pass Shanny, but it's doable.

I have been to four games so far this season, and there have been nights where the joint really rocked. I can't wait til March, and the two games we're going to (Minnesota and Nashville). I expect the place will be jumping again, especially having Lilja back. That's gonna be awesome.

I get down when we lose, especially if it's a game that we lose at the last minute. My hubby usually knows when I'm down to keep a low profile for a bit...but I get over it.

Please, God, no. I'd rather have bamboo shoved under my fingernails than have Turco playing here. I've also heard that Boston might be interested, and trade off Tim Thomas. Now, if Tim was available, I might think about that one. But God, not Turco.

I know he took a pretty good hit Saturday night into the boards, and he just shook it off and went on. I'd say that was a pretty good sign.
