I have to say that my money is on Russia...despite what some of the posters here are saying about leaving off certain parties (and I also don't like the addition of Fedorov, but that's a personal thing), I think Russia is gonna be a tough bunch of cookies to try and crumble. Well, I'm not much of a beer drinker for starters, and secondly, the tickets for the Saturday night game were only $10 each (thanks to AAA Michigan membership, we got a discount). So who am I to complain?

I'll be watching hockey and curling. Yes, I said curling. I love watching that game and I don't care who knows it. And I will third the Sweden - Russia final. I think the Russians are gonna be very hard to beat.

It's actually Saturday that I'm going to the game, and yes, I hope to see him there. Four rows from the ice in the corner, I might be able to get some good shots. I can't wait! It'll be so good to see him back skating again.

Hence, I believe that a conditioning stint in GR will be, or at least should be, in the cards.

The day I see him out there on the ice, I think I'll be doing a happy dance. Say what you want, but there isn't very many guys out there right now who will block shots as well as he does. This is something we've been missing big time. To see him out there and blocking shots again will definitely be a boost. And I have to believe that having all the healthy bodies back will be a psychological pickup as well.

If Lils goes to GR for a rehab stint, that means I might be able to see him when I go on Feb. 6th to watch them. Now THAT would be worth it!

He said on Wingspan he was close to 100%, and he's been skating in practice for quite awhile. Let the joy be unconfined, let there be dancing in the street. I never realized how much I miss this guy until our penalty kill took a dive. This might mean we'll have a full house when I go to the two games in March. Hot damn!

Three words...Please God, no. I'd much rather have Patrick Eaves, Drew Miller and Todd Bertuzzi under contract than Marleau. He isn't worth it.
