Most of mine have already been mentioned, but I also happen to like one that Steve Fisher scored for Ottawa against Turco where he popped the puck right over a sprawling Turco and shot it in from mid air. That took hand-eye coordination. Another good goal was Pasha's no-look shot against Luongo when he was in Florida. He came around the goal, and without looking shot the puck right over Luongo's shoulder. I sat there and said, "Holy s***!"

It's encouraging to be sure, but let's not rush into things here.

Poor guy...I hope he can recover from this. No matter who you are, that's a hard piece of news to swallow. That could be the end of his career.

Jeremy Roenick says "a big fall is ahead for the Red Wings"
Kira replied to Vladifan's topic in General
A couple of thoughts here... One, anyone who takes anything this guy says seriously is in dire need of psychiatric care. Two, the Kings have hired this guy as a website consultant??? That's like hiring Britney Spears to teach a parenting class. Three, in the words of Ron White, "The next time you get an idea - let it go." -
The last nine games I've been to we've won them all. Here's hoping that my streak continues, but more importantly, here's hoping 2010 will be another homecoming for Stanley. GO WINGS!!!!!!!

This one is a little harder. I cannot think of five. Milan Lucic I would kill to have on the Wings. Max Afinogenov - don't ask why, some things are better left unexplained.

Chris Pronger heads my douchebag list. Followed by Crosby, Perry, Ott, and Joe Thornton.

My hubby and I have tickets for New Year's Eve and the game with Colorado. I'd love to get together with some of you that might be there too. If you are interested, PM me and let me know. This could be fun!

I hate to say it, but my money's still on the Russians. Theyr'e gonna be tough to beat.

I will vouch for both "What it Means to be a Red Wing" and "48 Hours with the Detroit Red Wings". I love them both. My copy of "48" has been autographed by quite a few of the guys...and my copy of "What it Means" has been signed by Pasha. I also found one at Borders in Traverse this fall called "Hockey Chronicle". This one is a really thick, beautiful history of the game, going back to the very beginnings of professional hockey and going all the way up to 2007. Lots of pictures, stories, and just a great read. For those with short attention spans, they can find this one easy to read in small pieces.

Definitely cashews. I don't do pistachios. Chocolate covered raisins or peanuts
-
If that's the case, I think I'd have to put my money on Pasha and friends. No offense to Stevie Y, God knows I love and respect him, but this is a considerable fence to breach.

This could be a bunch of tough little cookies. I see them high on the radar.

I've never been a sour cream person. Give me real butter and lots of it. Tossed salad or cole slaw?
-
Some good health and good luck after all this time without it. I think we've paid enough dues, thank you. And if I were to be selfish, I'd love a hug from Pasha.

Happy Christmas to my sisters and brothers here. You know who you are and you know I love you. And here's to the guys as well. We love you too.

Microbrewed...take a tour of the brewery and then try their samples. YUMMY! Turkey or ham?
-
In the truck we do most of the time. TPBM can't sleep.
-
Oh boy, do I ever! TPBM hates it when they can't use both hands to type. (long story)

I don't eat fruit cake. So that kinda makes it a moot argument. Catapult fruitcake or blow it up?
-
I'm really happy with the way Patrick Eaves has been playing, and I hope he can stay a while.
-
About time we got some good news. I'll be at the New Year's Eve game, and it will be great to see him. Hopefully, from here on for a while, things will be getting more encouraging.

My French is lousy, my high school Spanish long forgotten, and my Russian is non existent. I'd better stick to English speaking venues. Showtime or HBO?
-
As a city to visit, I have never been to San Jose. But I have been to Chicago and there is some neat stuff there. As a hockey team, neither one appeals to me. Dishwasher or hand wash dishes?
