It will be nice to have some healthy bodies back. Hope to see Flip at least on New Year's Eve.

Cold as Ice - Foreigner

Oh Snoopy please...happiness is a warm puppy, after all. Bill the Cat or Opus
-
Considering that (England) Dan Seals has gone to the great beyond, I guess it's John by default. Hall or Oates?
-
What presents? We pretty much cancelled Christmas. TPBM is still shopping.
-
Oh definitely Pink Floyd. I own a couple CDs of them, and not a one of the Doors. I'll take David Gilmour and Roger Waters any day. Paul or George?
-
I never went out so I was home very early... TPBM keeps weird hours
-
I'm not 100% sure but I don't think they are open to the public as a general rule. I know there are times when season ticket holders are allowed to sit in on a practice, but for the general public, I don't think they are. I wish - I'm going to be in Detroit the morning of New Year's Eve and it would be a blast to watch morning skate.
-
Vacation? I'm staying close to home to pay the bills from my last vacation. TPBM has done something incredibly stupid in the last 24 hours.
-
Depends on which one I grab. Usually yellow. Spaghetti or lasagna?
-
I can't dance a lick and I used to sing in the choir. So it would be singing for me. Not that I would do either one, mind you. Monday or Wednesday?
-
Nope. Only fish oil pills along with the regular meds. TPBM is happy that it's the first day of winter

As long as he's back by New Year's Eve I'll be happy. I have tickets to that one. I almost hate to watch a game 'cause I'm afraid of who's next.

My hubby and I will probably be sitting at the top of Section 106. Come and say hi!
-
I'll top that...I want that bastard to resign.

I still believe a lot of it has to do with a) the short (and I do mean short) training camps...b) the compacted schedule...and c) the fact that lots of these guys think they have to impress to get on their country's Olympic team. And I heard Lou Lamorello say the same thing a couple weeks ago. So I can't be too crazy to think that way. But I'm in agreement. I'm almost afraid to turn on a game because I don't know who's next on the hit list. This is turning out to be a war of attrition.

Glazed...powdered sugar is too messy. Of course, now that I can't have them...it doesn't matter. East coast sunrises or west coast sunsets?
-
Not really. I do to say goodbye to my friend or family member. I usually don't stick around much for other family members. TPBM has a snowblower.

If you do rent a car, I will recommend a place that has great food in Hamtramck...it's called the Maine Street Cafe on Joseph Campau (forgive me if I didn't spell it right). They do a nice breakfast and their chicken alfredo is great. To get there, take I-75 to Caniff, go east to Joseph Campau, and turn north - it's like a block or two from the intersection. The Art Museum is great, the Science Center is too. And if you have no budget limits, take her to the Whitney...it's reportedly haunted. Make for good conversation if nothing else. I'll second the Ann Arbor trip as well. I love that town. State Street down by campus is a wonderful area. I used to hang out there all the time. Maybe you can catch a U-M hockey game at Yost while you're there. Main thing is, have fun!

Nope, I'm staying home...closest traveling I'm doing near Christmas is a doctor's appointment for Terry on the 23rd. TPBM is tired of all this Tiger Woods bull...get on with life, already!
-
Depends on the use...lotion is nice for when I'm sick and blowing my nose, but not if I have tears in my eyes. The lotion can irritate the eyes something awful. Oranges or tangerines?
-
You know, this might sound a little off the path, but I wonder how much of this can be attributed to a) The shortness of training camps, b) The compacted schedules, and c) Players trying to bust ass to impress their respective country's coaches to make the Olympic team? I heard Lou Lamorella say the same thing, so maybe it isn't too crazy???

In a word, no. If you want it more emphatically, OH, HELL NO!

I find this a little hard to swallow. I don't think it's true. And I don't think he'd go back to Russia - I really think he wants to stay here. I don't know if you remember when he signed that contract to play in Russia after the lockout, but if you saw pictures of him then, he didn't look like very happy at all. He'd supposedly signed this contract for big bucks, but he looked absolutely miserable. When he got back here, the light was back in his eyes and he looked immensely happier. I know something's up, but I also think whatever it is, he'll work it out. I have faith.

And the hits just keep on comin'...
