If Pasha's trying to skate then you know he's gonna move Heaven and Hell to get in game 5. He's a very determined person when you come down to it.

This isn't his first time where he's crossed the path (as well as the ire) of the officials. This time, though, it cost him big bucks. I can remember when he was with the Blues, and the game got pretty well out of hand when the Blues players went after us (that's the game when Joe Kocur got tossed for throwing the chair - remember that gem?). So this isn't the first time he's tried to bully people around and then been called on the carpet for some pretty shabby behavior. And I'm sure it won't be the last. At least when Mike Babcock doesn't like the calls, he's either subtle about it, or he keeps his mouth shut as well as his wallet.

You know, for all that y'all gripe about him over the season, you can sure tell when he's not there. Frankly, I miss him on the penalty kill, and out blocking shots. You don't realize how valuable he is until he's gone.

If I saw that look on Nick's face, I would not want to cross his path.

When my hubby and I went to Niagara Falls last fall, I ran into some Calgary fans and some Blues fans (who were all very nice, I might add), and a few fellow Wings fans as well. It was nice to have someone see my Wings hat (or jacket) and smile. I like that. I was at Ft McCoy, Wisconsin three summers ago, and the fellow behind the desk at their campground asked if I was a Wings fan (I had a shirt on) and I said yes, and asked if he was. He said he was, and was a big Cheli fan. Kinda cool to be in the middle of Wisconsin and find a fellow Wings fan. Red Wing Nation is everywhere!!!!

What was funnier was when Homer waved bye-bye to him from the bench when he got booted. That was priceless.

I always DVR the games, and transfer them to disk. But I don't have the techno chops to put them up on YouTube. My other half does, but I'm not going to bother him with this right now, since he's not feeling too good and is sleeping. I'm sure someone has more techno knowledge than me and can do it.

Ah good, so Terry and I were not the only ones who saw that. I laughed my ass off ...typical Homer. It was hilarious.

You know what? I don't care if this turns into a 10-1 blowout. I want the Wings to keep sticking the knife in the neck and causing significant pain. Something tells me that if Pasha doesn't play tomorrow, that whatever they are saying is wrong is a lot worse than they are letting on, because he would have to be damned near dead to miss more than one game. He's that determined.

You would practically have to kill him to get him to give up playing...he's very determined.

Somehow I have a feeling that if he can at all get his foot in a skate and move, he'll want to play. He's a very determined person, and when he wants something bad enough, he'll do anything he has to for it.

Remember last year what happened when that Colorado player (I think it was Cody MacLeod, but I could be wrong) threw the octopus into the stands? And what happened to them? Should be a warning to you, boys...you don't screw around with the octopus.

There were so many people calling for Pasha's head on a platter that it wasn't funny. Thank GOD we never did anything with those ridiculous ideas.

I know this enforced layoff is eating at him big time. I miss him on the penalty kills.

I've long wanted to sit down and have a pizza with Pasha. Just to sit and talk about life, hockey, and whatever else we can think of. I think that would be one of the best days of my life.

Boy do I like seeing that number at the top of the page in double digits!
