Why doesn't he get hurt? Have you ever seen his training regimen? He's awfully disciplined when it comes to working out. He's deceptively strong. And yes, sneaky too.

As far as I'm concerned, he can come back wherever he wants and he could still play circles around a lot of younger goalies, who probably looked up to him as an influence. And Dom, whatever your heart tells you is right, follow it. You know a lot more than we do what you can and cannot do. If you did come back, I'd cheer.

Say what you want about the guy, but he does contribute mightily, and he is missed. Get well Andreas. If no one else misses you, I do.

What I have to take into consideration is the injury bug. Though Henrik has missed time both this year and last with back problems, Pasha played every game last year (the first year he's done that) and were it not for Buttman's ridiculous suspension (they didn't want to call it that, but we all know it was), I'm more than sure he would have played in every game this year too. If you absolutely have to have one or the other, you know who I'd favor. One reason among many - he never leaves us with a dull moment.

I saw him at camp last September, and unfortunately didn't get to talk to him. But my friend Julie had a wonderful picture of her with him, and she wanted to get it autographed. One of the workers took it to him, and he signed it with the words, "Sometimes life is better than we think it is." It made Julie and I both almost cry. It was perfect. He's still and always a class act. Maybe this fall I'll get the chance to meet him finally. You're a lucky soul. Cherish that moment.

Pasha is almost at a point a game average too. Henrik will get it Monday night. I'd bet the house payment on it.

I think he'll get it. He's also three points short of a 1-point per game career average, which a lot of players would give their eyeteeth to own. I have incredible faith in Pasha, and whatever goal he sets for himself he'll get it. And that includes his third Stanley Cup ring.

There is an easy solution for this problem. Get satellite radio.

You know, it's a good thing Hitch ditched the mustache. I swear to God when I saw him coaching before I saw a team being coached by Captain Kangaroo. Congrats to the boys for bringing another 100-plus point season to Detroit. That is a new record, and I'm betting it will continue as long as we have a team that can reach down and bring out games like yesterday. This is the team we knew they were capable of being.

If it can't be us, I'd like to see Boston take it. I like Milan Lucic enough that I could cheer for them if we don't make it. Of course, we are going to be the team to beat. San Jose will be sitting on the sidelines - again.

Elementary, dear Watson. The fans spoke. They believed that a couple of laser shots, with a dose of Shake 'n' Bake on the side beats the goalie letting in two goals. Now if he had thrown another shutout, he probably would have walked off with it in a landslide. But I don't think so. Damn, Pasha, if Rahmani did that good on your vision, he must be a genius!

I think that may be the only thing you and I can agree on, but that's a whole 'nother topic.

Do you ever get the feeling you grew up in the wrong generation? Not to slam you in any way, but I think you were born a lot later than you should have been.

You have to take the mentality of most of the posters over there into account...there isn't any. And don't knock women's curling - it is a hell of a lot more interesting and strategic than anything that Don Cherry spews.

I never had the chance to meet her, but if she was as gracious as Gordie and Mark, whom I have met, she definitely has a place with the angels. My heart goes out to the family.
