No way! Too expensive for my blood. I'd rather use the money for hockey tickets! TPBM has stood up in a wedding at some time in their lives. (I get to do it tomorrow)

I'll say less...and how long do you think it will be before he cracks into the top ten Red Wings scorers of all time? If he doesn't get it by the end of this year, expect it very early in the season next year. He's only got to come up with 47 points to do it. I'd not put it past him to do it this season if all goes well.
-
Do you really think he gives a rat's ass about the Byng??? Believe me when I tell you he's got other fish to fry and a hell of a bigger trophy in his sights - his third Stanley Cup. I dare you to tell me I'm wrong on this.

Thanks to the boys for making the Sharks look like guppies last night. And congrats to Pasha for hitting the 500 point mark. I'm proud of you. Interesting, I had the game on last night, and my husband was in the other room watching something else, and filpped over to the game to see what was going on. Then I hear, "Is Ty in goal?" "Yes, he is." "Okay, we've got a good shot." Even my non-hockey loving hubby knows who gets it done!

I am so proud of him for this accomplishment. Not bad for only seven seasons in the League. And now the next milestone - joining the top ten all time Red Wings scoring leaders. He's only 47 points away from that. He'll knock John Ogrodnick out of the number ten position with another 47 points. Here's to you, Pasha! You deserve every kind word said to and about you. :beerbuddy:

Jealous, are we????
-
I'd love to see it, but I think Pasha has his eye on a bigger prize...he wants that Stanley Cup back.
-
Pasha could sell me the Mackinac Bridge and I'd buy it.
-
Congrats to our new daddy, and here's hoping this is a good beginning for a kick start to his game.
-
It's not anything to freak over. It's rotated between Pasha, Henrik and Kris. Last night the rotation happened to land on Kris and Pasha. Tonight, who knows. As long as we win, I don't care who wears the A.
-
I'm thinking it will be Maltby or Kopecky...Drapes is needed for faceoffs. Tonight is the night Pasha will get career point #500. I hope the guys save the puck for him. He came close last night, but tonight is definitely the night. GO WINGS!!!!!!!

Good Lord, that was awful. Enough of that crap, guys...you should be ashamed of yourselves for that one.
-
Only 12 SOG for the Sucks...I am loving this!
-
This is definitely confirming that Babs made the right move letting Conks play and Ozzie take a breather.

JOHAN!!!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!
-
Dear Andreas, Next time put that SOB on his ass. You'll be appreciated forever. Love, Wings fans P.S. Repetitions of the above mentioned favor will get you even more love.
-
Pasha is one point away from 500...come on baby, you can do it!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the laugh. Personally, I'd like to see Pronger try to take out Kopi with a knee to knee only to have it backfire on him, a la Steve Yzerman in '02. I also want to see Kronner, Cheli and Lils go totally kamikaze, taking out any Duck that gets in their way. And I'd love to see Pasha get career point #500 on the third goal of a hattie. Finally, I'd love to hear the crowd serenade the Sucks the same way we did Phoenix the last time they were here - with a rousing chorus of "Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye". Sounded nice when we did it to Gretzky - let's do it to Anaheim too.

500 Pasha played in his 500th career game the other night, and is three points away from 500 for his career. Either the end of this season or early next, he will join the top ten all-time Red Wings scoring leaders, sitting with Gordie Howe, Steve Yzerman, Alex Delvecchio, Sergei Fedorov, Nicklas Lidstrom, Brendan Shanahan, Ted Lindsay, Norm Ullman and Reed Larson. That, my friends, is pretty elite company. Not bad for only seven years in the League.

About time Ozzie got a rude awakening. Christ, even Dom didn't play this bad last season, and he got raked over the coals constantly. Howie can't do any worse, can he?
-
Absolutely. This one is perfect...the first real icon of the team, the most recognizable (to most of the posters here) icon, and the two people who make it happen.

You all know I love Pasha to death. But he'll never win the Hart. Know why??? Cause he's not the media darling that Ovechkin or Malkin is. He's not Gary Bettman's water boy. Much as we know how hard he works and how dedicated he is, it will never be enough, because he won't bow to Bettman, and consequently, he won't get it. When I was at the Phoenix game, they honored Pasha with the Carhartt Hardest Working Player award for the month of January. It was the second month in a row that they honored him with it. He is the hardest working player on that team...he works his ass off every night. That is evident by looking at his plus-minus and the fact that for the last three seasons he's led the League in takeaways, and will most likely do it again. He's 6 points away from 500 career points. And he's going to crack the top ten in all-time Red Wings scoring leaders either by the end of this season or early next. Not a bad accomplishment for a guy who's been here for a mere seven years. If he could win the Hart, I'd be happy as all get out. But I don't see it happening. Then again, I think he has his eyes on a bigger prize, don't you???
-
He's only got the one playoff hattie against Dallas. He's come close quite a few times, but never hit it. Let's hope he finally does - this would be a great night for it.
-
Yes it is. And he's only 7 points away from 500 for his career. Not half bad. I'll go with you all on the hattie for Pasha...he's due. I'd love to see it happen. I'll not predict a score, but 7 in a row sounds awfully nice. Go Wings!

I'm sorry, but I'm going to take the minority side here, and choose Pasha over Sergei. Reason - attitude. Sergei always seemed to be something of a drama hog...whereas Pasha prefers not to be. Maybe you like Feds' stats more, but I go more towards the intangibles, and for that reason, I choose Pasha.
