Nah, I think he's above that. Though he would give that waste of electricity a tiny shread of credibility. Just a wee one, though.

"Lay down the boogie and play that funky music 'til you die" Oh, that was good for a laugh. But you notice he's not self-conscious at all...just as unfazed as you please. I wouldn't be caught dead doing something like that, and yet he's so nonchalant about it. One of the reasons why you can't help but love him.

I'd just ban the little ****** nozzle from any hockey venue, period. And as to how long he'll be relevant, his 15 minutes of fame expired 2 hours ago.

Speaking of Pasha, as we are, may we raise a glass to toast him on his birthday. Happy birthday to the most amazing hockey player to cross our paths in many a moon. We love ya, Pasha!

Interesting choices all.

Don't knock Westminster. I love it, and watch it every year. But I agree with you. Football and basketball, to me, are egos and paychecks fighting to see which one gets bigger first. Baseball is so boring, I can read an entire book between pitches (and have actually done so). I love hockey, and I have since I was a kid. Of course growing up near Canada and being able to watch CBC might have had something to do with that, I don't know. That might also explain why I love curling. And please don't say that sport is a bore. It's really a cerebral sport, encompassing geometry, physics and psychology. Maybe that's why people don't like it - it makes them think. That might explain why they like a stupid non-thinking game like football instead.

Wow...you are so blessed. What a summer! My first meeting with him didn't occur til 2006, but it was memorable for me, because I walked into Centre Ice in TC with a Moscow Dynamo jersey on, and he asked me if I would like him to autograph it. All I could do was squeak out, "Please?" He was gracious and kind and just a sweet soul. Over the years we have seen each other at camp, and the last time we met he put his hands on my hubby's shoulders and asked him how he was, then turned around and hugged me. I wanted to melt right there - I almost cried in front of him. I wish he knew just how much we love and appreciate him. His type comes along once in a lifetime, and luckily, it's in ours.

Um, OK, not really sure this'll have the desired effect

My hubby says it's the color of the belly of a catfish. As he loves to fish, I'll take his word for it. It is appropriate, I suppose, since a) They throw catfish on the ice down there, and b) One is a scum-sucking bottom feeder, and the other is a fish. -
I'd not be pressing my luck but that would be sweet!

Hey, who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth?

Pasha is a gem. He gave me the best laugh I've had in a while. I can't wait to see him in September. I'm hoping for another hug.
-
Amen to this. He'll be forever remembered as someone special to watch and admire. Not many like him and probably not another one will cross our paths. We should feel blessed.
-
Sad, but you can totally understand it. I wish him well whatever he decides to do.

Yes, definitely on Pasha. Good possibility for Henrik, depending on how much of an impact he has from here on out. I doubt Fedorov will, simply because some parties have very long memories, and hold grudges forever.

No. Actually it is two people but there is a spelling error on the roster. I'm here in TC, and I saw it too. Funny - they were born a month and a half apart, both play goalie and both here at the same time. The only Chelios I've seen is Dean. My friend George Malik said that Jake is at Chicago's camp doing pretty much the same thing his brother's doing here.

Anyone want to play for Jersey? I hear they're looking for some power up front. I just saw this when I came home from Saginaw. Who'd of thunk it???

There were a couple articles in the morning papers online that were speculating on who else on the 01-02 team would make the Hall, and they were all four the ones mentioned here...Dom, Sergei, Nick and Pasha. That's going to be the team for the ages. One of the most powerhouse lineups ever.

Good for Cheli and Shanny! Though I don't like the idea that Pat Burns got passed on again. Kinda sucks. At least Lindros and Roenick didn't get it. Thank you for small favors!

First, it would not break my heart if Cleary walked. Second, to those of you who wish to lose Patrick Eaves, I beg to differ...he has a place in the penalty kill with Drew Miller. Bert is getting long in the tooth, and his back problems just won't disappear - in fact, they will most likely get worse. Sammy is a safe removal, but who's going to want him after last season's fiasco?
-
I'll be glad not to have to suffer his sorry ass when we play the Pens. I hope someone takes him out and drowns him in the Mississippi River. What a ******.

My housemate, a die hard Boston fan, almost threw up when she heard the news.

signed Wings sign Alfredsson to 1-year, $3.5m deal (+$2m bonuses)

Wow, this is interesting news. -
As I told someone else, want in one hand and crap in the other. See which one gets filled first. I wouldn't want him. He doesn't have the attitude I want in a goalie, or any player, for that matter.

Take Karen Newman with you while you're at it, please.

Flip, I love ya, but dream on...
