I do like Labatt, but I also like microbrews, such as Thunder Hole Ale from Maine. TPBM wishes they were somewhere else right now.

Since he is a licensed pilot, I think he's planning out his next flight. Either that or he's figuring out a new invention for making the plane fly better.

My lips are sealed, but if you do a little digging into the archives on this board, you will indeed find the identity of the unimpeachable source.
-
This may be because according to an absolutely unimpeachable source, he's not going to the ASG. To which I say good on him...go on vacation, Pasha, and have fun.

There are just so many things you can get away with on a pipe organ. I'm sorry but metal is not one of them. Not unless you can talk Garth Hudson into being your arena's organist.
-
You never know....
-
Actually, right on both counts. And maybe the reason why you don't see him in the shootout competition is because according to an unimpeachable source, he's not going to the ASG - he's going on vacation with his family. To which I say good on him.
-
Are you kidding??? Those idiots over there don't appreciate, respect or even acknowledge his existence most days. And you wonder why I finally told them to go to hell? They would not appreciate Pasha if he came up and threw them money. Moronic cretins.

Boy, do I know someone who will love you for these words. Pavel Datsyuk can make even my non-hockey loving husband sit up and take notice. And believe me when I tell you, that takes some doing. As of today, he's 25 points away from 500 career points. I know guys who have played twice as long as he has and they're not even close to that figure. Pretty impressive. He's also only one of four Wings who led the team in scoring for three years in a row or more, the others being Gordie, Alex and Stevie Y. Damned good company to be keeping.
-
Again, it's the sense of surprise that his hits generate. I just wonder how many guys go back to the bench thinking, "I just got run by Pavel Datsyuk?????"
-
I wouldn't touch those things with a hockey stick. YUCK!!!! TPBM is watching it snow outside.

I'm sticking my neck out here, but I agree with you on the Selkie. Pasha is making a serious run for a repeat win of it, and he's trying very hard to prove that last year was not just a flash in the pan. I'd love to see him get the Hart, and the Byng is a foregone conclusion. As to the Vezina, though, I'm gonna disagree with you and say Tim Thomas in Boston.

I like the "Matter of Trust" beginning for four goals. I always liked that song. A new one they could use...Mudcrutch (Tom Petty's side project) has a song called "Don't Scare Easy"... I don't scare easy... Don't fall apart when I'm under the gun You can break my heart but I ain't gonna run I don't scare easy for no one I also remember the James Brown bit...I laughed and loved that. And saved it on You Tube.

The thing about Pasha's hits is that he's clever and sneaky about them. You never know when it's going to happen or to whom or how hard he's gonna smack you. And then he steals the puck away just to add insult to injury. Even my husband, who isn't that big a hockey fan, is impressed by Pasha. He said the other night, "Watching him, you just never know what he's thinking...he thinks ahead, like a good chess player."
-
Don't scare me like that!!! I'm getting to that age where heart attacks can occur.

I saw Daniel Larsson at camp, and I thought he was great. In one of the games, I can't remember which one, he stopped everything but one, and that was a Nick Lidstrom bullet. You couldn't have stopped that shot unless you were a cement wall. He was great, and I was impressed with him. Not to diss Jim Howard, but I was more impressed with Daniel and Thomas McCollum both. If these two are our future, I think we are in pretty good hands.

Bravo! Good on ya! We kinda wanted Marty to stay and play the whole game. We were having fun. You think he's got us in his head????

Great game tonight. We had three Dallas fans sitting in front of us, so we kinda laid it on a little thicker...booing Turco (chicken s*** for leaving in the third - you're just no fun, Marty), loudly booing Ott (my dog has more cojones than that jerk, and he's been neutered), and just having a high old time. It's funny...I go to the Sharks game and we score six. Go to the Kings game, we score six. When it got to 5-1, I turned to my hubby and said, "Something is wrong, we need another one." Sure enough, not long after I said that, the Wings scored goal number six. Coincidence???? Also, my hubby said, "We need a short-handed goal." Well, it was kinda short - the 4 on 3 when Pasha scored. I had just talked to puckloo on the phone before that and she asked what was going on with him being so quiet. I told her to be patient - he had a trick or two up his sleeve. And what happens? He scores. Maybe the theory that we should go to every game might have some merit to it after all.

Thank my other half...he's the one who did it.

I am technologically challenged. I did, however, marry a techno genius who loves a challenge. So he has converted the interview and it is loading on You Tube as we speak. Bless Terry's heart for doing this - there is a reason I lovingly call him Dr. Science. As soon as it gets done loading I'll post the link to it. Hope this works! It works! Yay! Terry did apologize for the dead air at the end. But hey, for a first time editing job, not half bad! Thanks to my beloved Dr. Science!

I'm going to be there too! It should be fun!

Party pooper!

Are you hinting, Dmitriy, that someone might take that weekend off and go on a well-deserved vacation??? If so, tell him for me to have a good time.

I'm sending a copy to Crossover Thrash, but the offer stands for tomorrow night. If you are technically inclined and you want to go ahead and meet at the game tomorrow night, I'll have a copy with me. But if you post it, do not give me any credit for it. I prefer to remain anonymous.

I have it on DVD, but I am so technologically illiterate it's not funny. I'll tell you what...if anyone of you is going to be at the game tomorrow night against Dallas, I'll make a copy and bring it with me. I'll be happy to meet up with the first one of you who shows up and wants it. I'll be wearing an away (white) autographed Pasha jersey and a cream colored fedora. I'm also sending a copy to Crossover Thrash. I'll be along the top of the lower bowl somewhere.
