That isn't the words that comes to mind for me. It's more like they see him coming and say, "Oh, s***."
-
Oh come on, even you have to admit he was good. I'm impressed with how good Jiri Hudler did, and I'm happy with Johan's performance, but you have to admit that Pasha's been a presence out there. Give me a little credit, for crying out loud. I haven't been watching the games for nothing, you know.

I'd give the ten grand to the person who whops him upside the head with an octopus and says, "Fine THIS, *ucker!"
-
I have to go with Pasha on this question. No doubt in my mind he was ever present, vigilant, fearless and just plain relentless. I'm proud of all the guys, but Pasha is the MVP right now.

I told you Karma can come back and bite you in the ass. This is proof. Das vedanya, suckers! ROFLMAO! This is too good!

For the first time since I don't know when, I find myself agreeing with Don Cherry. The world must be coming to an end.

We have a winner!!!! This one made my hubby crack up as well. Congrats. I also like the Harry Potter takeoff...I always said Pasha was my hero.

I'm in...#158. Is this guy an idiot naturally, or did he have to practice?
-
Problem being, he cannot do this alone. He needs 19 other teammates to shoulder the load too.
-
It's bad enough that I have to miss the game Sunday for a memorial service (my hubby's stepfather, who I never got along with at all). But if you take off my beloved Red Wings for something like this, I'll be raising hell.
-
I like your thinking!
-
Okay, I stand corrected. But it sure seemed like everyone was out for his head. And I'm not saying it was this season. Go back a couple years, and remember, if you will, how everyone was riding him for not scoring in the playoffs. A lot of people wanted him traded, benched, whatever. That is where I find the turnaround. I'll concede the point to you, but I hope you will see where I am coming from too.

Seems to me that not all that long ago you were all calling for his head on a platter, and you thought I was nuts for sticking up for him. Now your tune has certainly changed. My, my, my, how the worm has turned.
-
Pavel is absolutely rockin'! God love the man for being so kickass.
-
Boy, to think that a couple three seasons ago you were all demanding Pasha's head on a platter and now you're after Henrik's???? My, how times have changed.
-
You are not the only one who saw that - I did too. I kept thinking someone needs to take that little asshat down for the count. Unfortunately it hasn't happened yet. Last night I think people got to see the real Pavel Datsyuk. He's become such a stronger player in time, and I really think he's hit the prime of his life. This is going to be his time. And those of us who knew from the beginning what a treasure we have will be able to say, "We knew all along..."

Hey, it's the picture for the next eight years. I can live with it. Next year, my military ID comes due again, and I'll probably wear a Wings jersey for that as well.
-
I'll wear the Red and White anywhere. From the Outer Banks to the Oregon coast, the Badlands, the Grand Canyon, Florida, the Blue Ridge Mountains, New England, anywhere... I have a very dear friend whose husband was buried in his Dino Ciccarelli jersey. I wore a Pasha jersey to another friend's memorial service. I wore a Red Wings shirt in Jersey and almost got lynched for it. This was right after we won the Cup in 98. I had a Wings sweatshirt on in Buffalo and some guy came up and asked, "Why are you wearing a Red Wings shirt?" I looked at him and said, "Where I come from, this is not a problem." I have a Wings lapel pin that I wear on my blazer when I go to anyone's funeral. I also went to a state convention of a group my hubby belongs to and wore a Pasha jersey. That is my idea of formal attire. I also wore Pasha's jersey to get my driver's license photo taken recently. No kidding.

You put the hurt on him so bad he has to eat his grits through a straw. Darren has already said he's not going to put up with this guy, and now is the time to put the force behind the words. If not D-Mac, then maybe Aaron, Dallas or Andreas. Any one of them could do some damage. I liked the hit Dallas put on the other day - that was a great shot.

First of all, what Avery did was downright annoying. What worries me more would be if someone had shot a puck and hit him in the back of the head or something. Wouldn't have knocked any sense into him, but he could very well have hit Brodeur with his stick while falling, and done some damage to the goalie. I guarantee you if he would have pulled that stunt in the regular season, someone would have had his head. Unsportsmanlike conduct is not out of line as a ruling.

I would be hard pressed to be come up with just one, but I have to admit, my favorite is probably Pasha's undressing of a couple of Sharks. I laughed my ass off at that one. I also loved the moment he totally humiliated the Flames...I sat there with my jaw hitting the floor, wondering how in Heaven's name he got through all of that and still managed to score the goal. I love the story of what he did Saturday after the game. That is one of the reasons I absolutely love and admire him...his generosity and caring knows no end. What a gentleman.

I honestly thought someone would have jumped on this one sooner than they did. Good job!

This one made hubby and I both crack up. Very nicely done. I still love the one where God says even He worships Pavel.
