The next time Anaheim and Pronger come to town, I think they should play "You're No Good" when Pronger goes to the penalty box. Either that or maybe "Thank God and Greyhound You're Gone"

Tell me I'm going to wake up in the morning and find out Pronger is gone for multiple games. I'll be laughing in my cereal for certain. Remember, Pronger, karma can really be a pistol. I hope it bites you four ways...long, deep, wide and often.

Okay, all kinds of little tidbits here. Yes, Pavel is married and has a daughter named Elizabeth, who is 5. She's a cutie...I've seen a picture of her. Mickey says he winks as a message to his family that he's thinking of them, even though he isn't there with them. I think it's sweet. And yes, we have a team of real gracious fellows. I've had the pleasure of being at training camp the last three years, and I've met almost all the guys. The only ones I haven't met yet are Dallas, Brad Stuart, Brian, Ozzie, Mikael, Henrik and Dom. The other guys are as kind and generous as can be. Especially Pasha. What a gentleman! I always wondered what kind of gum Mike Babcock was chewing, because it sure looks like he goes through a ton of it. I don't think it's bubble gum though, because it's flat like Wrigley's gum. I always thought, to tell you the truth, that it was something like Big Red (the cinnamon gum). I wonder if he goes through the gum like that because he's an ex-smoker...I know a lot of them who do that.

I was scratching my head over this one. Even my friend Ellen, who is a die-hard Bruins fan, called me and asked for an explanation, which I couldn't give her. My hubby and I both came up with our reply to it. "Lucy, you got some 'splainin to do!"

They've done that for a long time. I liked it when they would play "In the Jailhouse Now" from "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" when the other team got a penalty. I haven't heard that one for a while.

I was wondering about that myself. And my friend Ellen, who is a die hard Bruins fan, asked me the same question. I'm mystified.

As I've always believed, there is a double standard. Pronger gets away with murder. If that would have been one of the Wings or anyone else, they would have had the book thrown at them. But he thinks he's better than anyone else, so he gets off scott free. Karma can come back and kick you in the ass, Pronger. I hope it kicks you hard and often.

You and I (and maybe a handful of others) are probably the only ones who paid attention to his stats enough to see it. I did because I always do pay attention to them. Besides, artists are never appreciated in their own time. I thought you knew that.

The only way he should be in there is as a paying customer.

So let me get this straight. You're saying Pavel has no chance in hell of winning it because he's not Sergei Fedorov. Okay.

You would be embarrassed to be in company with Ron Francis, Marcel Dionne, Alex Delvecchio, Stan Mikita and guys like that???? I'd say that's nice company to be keeping.

I'm for a double header at the Big House. Michigan / Michigan State and Detroit / Toronto. Now that, to me, would be a kickass reason to drive to Ann Arbor.

No, he's not. He never will be. But it's comparing apples to oranges. And you need to stop doing that. They are two different, separate people...neither one is the same as the other. Pasha has the potential to be better than Fedorov ever was. Give him a break and stop comparing them.

You thought the end of the game was weird, you should have seen the beginning...two fights in the first 15 seconds. Milan Lucic got into it with a Cap five seconds into it. I like this kid Lucic...too bad we can't wrest him away from Boston.

One thing that might weigh in Pasha's favor is the fact that he hasn't missed a game so far this season. That might be a good omen.

Just remember who has a Stanley Cup and who doesn't...

I remember that - I laughed my ass off. You didn't have to be able to read lips to know what he was saying...it definitely wasn't repeatable on network tv!

I've been advocating this for a long time. Look at the year Kris Draper won it. Were his stats any better than Pasha's? I seriously doubt it. I think he's got a legitimate argument for being nominated, and an even better argument for winning it. I am all in favor of this one...Pasha deserves to win the Selkie and the Lady Byng both. And when is the last time we had a three-peat on the Lady Byng? I think it's been a while...this will be the year it happens.

I'll bring the barbecue sauce...it makes the crow a little more palatable.

I guess this means I'll have to dig my McCarty jersey out of the closet and brush it up. Can you imagine him and Downey out together? A resurrection of the Bruise Brothers, perhaps?
