I saw that...I can't believe the old coot finally tossed in the towel. I wonder what this will mean? Betcha they're partying in Little Havana tonight down in Miami.
-
The only three I could find that were also in that range were Dany Heatley, Ilya Kovalchuk and Brad Richards. So that's pretty heady company for Pasha to be in. And this includes guys like Reinprecht, Fedotenko, Kuba, Eric Cole, Visnovsky and Martin Havlat. Not bad, Pasha!

I'll have to see if I can dig up the stats somewhere to see who else is close to that milestone that came in the league the same year. I'll bet there isn't many of them.
-
Face it, Foppa, you are done and gone. Say goodbye already.

I was glad to see some real emotion from Mike Babcock. He looked like he could seriously kick Granato's ass all the way to Wyoming. And yes, that little Colorado douchebag turtled. Shades of Clawed Le Mew! Welcome back guys.
-
I was told by a friend when we signed Aaron that we would love him. Needless to say, I think she was right. That little douchebag got just what he deserved, and I knew Aaron would not let him go unpunished for beating up Nick. And it was awesome to see some temper on the part of Mike Babcock as well. I've never seen him so animated. He was ready to go around the glass and kick Granato's ass all the way to Wyoming. I wish he would have done it!
-
I'll bet Joe Kocur would have loved to have a go at Quenville.

What a grand effort by the guys tonight. Bravo to Aaron for that beatdown on Laperierre...what a douchebag. I can just see Darren McCarty sitting in GR chomping at the bit...you think he wasn't salivating about getting into a battle like this? Good to see Babcock show some emotion as well. Granato is gonna learn he can't match wits with Babs. It's like having a battle of wits with an unarmed person. Cheers to Ozzie for the shutout, which is what he (and the team) needed. Seriously. And congrats to Pasha for hitting the 400 career point mark tonight! I'm very proud of him. Love you, Pasha! Welcome back to the REAL Red Wings. Now let's hope that Nicky is not down for the count long.
-
Just think - 400 career points for Pasha. How many other guys that came in the League the same time as he did have hit that plateau? I doubt very many. Congrats, Pasha...I'm very proud of you.

I have both the blue and white jerseys from Moscow Dynamo, and (lucky me) both of them are autographed by Pasha. I'd kill for that Ak Barz Kazan jersey.
-
You're right, Pasha has not taken a night off yet. He's had his hand in all but a handful of games when it comes to the score sheet, league leader in assists, second in the league in plus-minus, top ten in scoring - the man has it all going for him. Boy, that seven year deal is looking better and better, isn't it?
-
Unfortunately Nick will not get the Hart, even though he deserves it. Not as long as everyone thinks Ovechkin and Crosby are the gods of the game. I also would love to see Pasha win the Selkie, but again, that probably won't happen either. Artists are never appreciated in their own time.
-
Second in the league in plus-minus, first in takeaways, not only this year, but last year as well, and maybe even the year before, out on the power play, penalty kills (including 5 on 3 sometimes, which he's shown himself capable of)...how in God's name this guy shouldn't be considered is beyond me. I've been screaming for this recognition for a long time, but I always thought no one else was listening to me. Nice to know it hasn't totally fallen on deaf ears.
-
The best revenge, and the final one, is the scoreboard. This night, we had more goals than they did. That's all that matters.
-
Lucky you...I so envy you your day! Isn't Pasha an absolute sweetheart? Of course, all the guys are. That's why we love them.
-
I don't have a least favorite because I love them all, but when it comes to favorite, it's Pasha by a long shot.
-
Color me bright green with envy. Those pics of Pasha are to die for. I owe you big time for these. They're fantastic!
-
That'll teach you never to say never, Cheli!
-
Thank you for reminding me again of one of the reasons I love this man. To think he had that move planned that he used on Turco and was just waiting for the right time to spring it. He'd planned that move for two or three years, and when the time presented itself, he pulled it out of his bag of tricks. As far as showing emotion, I've noticed he's started to do that lately. I still remember the playoff game when he really let out a yell of joy and really let his emotions show. That was incredibly beautiful to see.

Oh how I wish! I'd love to drink champagne at midnight with Pasha!
-
My biggest wish is to be on Hart Plaza in June watching the guys with the Stanley Cup. Otherwise, I say eliminate Bettman by legal means - any way possible. If that doesn't work shoot him.
-
You definitely didn't need lip reading skills for that little tirade. Poor Wayne - want some cheese to go with your whine? Of course he's not the first person to cuss up a blue streak after Pasha makes the opposition pay. And he won't be the last, I'm sure.

Turns out Pasha and I have something in common...we both love bagels. There's a great bagel shop in Traverse...I think I'll take him a baker's dozen next year when I'm there for camp.
