Pasha, Johan, Dan, Tomas, and especially Andreas. What a demon he's been out there. I'm happy beyond words to see Pasha throw off the no-show curse forever. He's my hero of this year. And every other year as well.

This is far from over, gang. This is the pattern that has gone for the last two rounds and I don't see it changing. We WILL win game 5 on Sunday, and we WILL win game 6 on Tuesday night. This is the pattern...why change it?

The best way to take care of Prongerless Ducks is to hit them where it will hurt the most. On the scoreboard. That said, I hope we can keep the momentum that we had the other night. Ten steps up the ladder. Six to go. It's getting closer and closer. I'm feeling awfully good about this run.

Anyone remember that sign that showed up the game after Burke started whining back in '02? BURKE SHUT UP LOSE GO HOME I think someone needs to revive that sign and put it to use again.

It's been a joy to watch Pasha's transformation. No longer is there just a sneaky smart playmaker with hands that perform magic. He's been a demon on the penalty kill (and if you don't believe that, just go back and watch on the 5 on 3 the other night), out on the power play, and even initiating physical contact and not backing down for anything or anyone. He's made his game so much more complete. This is the real, true Pavel Datsyuk coming to the fore. It's wonderful to watch the transformation, right in front of our eyes. It's like watching a chrysalis turn into a butterfly.

Listen, I was not one of the fans that supposedly cheered for Kunitz breaking his hand. There is a big difference between cheering for something like that and cheering for a guy who is down on the ice and not moving. Don't tell me there isn't. As far as Brian Burke, I haven't had any respect for him for years, ever since his days with Vancouver when he whined about us. Hey Burke, you want a little cheese with your whine? If not shut up and take your punishment like a man. As for us, we know the best way to inflict the maximum pain - hit them where it will hurt the most...ON THE SCOREBOARD.

I would like to think we'd act more civilized than that. Especially if we knew the severity of the hit.

I agree that Neidermeier (sorry if I spelled it wrong, Rob) got enough of a punishment with the game misconduct. It's Pronger that deserves worse, and if he doesn't get at least one game, then the League deserves to have their collective heads examined. For us, however, the best payback is to hit them where it will do maximum damage - on the scoreboard. My beef is with the Anaheim fans, who had the chutzpah to cheer when Homer went down. How disrespectful and rude that was. We wouldn't even stoop that low if the tables had been turned and it had happened at the Joe. That was crude, crass and downright disrespectful, and if I were an Anaheim fan, I'd be ashamed.

We got our payback in the best and most painful way possible...on the scoreboard. That's our style...not going out and stooping to their level. Calgary tried that stunt, and look what happened to them. Then San Jose tried it, and you see what happened to them - out in 6. This has the potential to wind up the same way, except hopefully it will be over in 5. The best revenge for us comes on the scoreboard. You hit them where it will do maximum damage.

I have my red shirt on...my dog is wearing her Wings bandana (and I'll have you know we have NOT lost since she's worn it every game day)...my thoughts and wishes are with Pasha...now it's time to take step number 10... GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was in Sault Ste Marie at the Kewadin Hotel. It was the State Convention of the Fraternal Order of Eagles (yes I am a member of the Auxiliary), and my hubby and I were sharing a suite with our friends Jim and Carol Weiss. Jim and Terry were at a meeting, Carol was in one of the bedrooms reading and I was in the living room area of the suite watching the game and laughing my ass off. About the time it got to 3-0, Terry called me from downstairs and asked me to come join him, Jim, and a few others in the bar. That's where I saw the 4th and 5th goals. Then we went back upstairs to another friend's suite for an open bar, and that's where I saw the last two goals. The next morning (Saturday), I met the Grand Madam President of the Auxiliary, who happened to be from North Carolina. "I have a problem,' I said to her. "Your Hurricanes are playing my Red Wings, and you're gonna lose." "No we're not!", she vehemently replied. "We're gonna win!" "Wings in five", I said. "You watch." Damned if I didn't call it right on the money!

That's great. I'd like to see what God has to say about Pavel Datsyuk.

There is a great cast of characters who could take it home. As I said before, I know who I'd love to see take it home, but I'll be happy to just see him take Lord Stanley's Cup back with him for a visit.

Oh perfect. I almost fell out of my chair laughing.

I just saw an article in a back copy of either the News or the Free Press after Pasha was awarded the "A" to wear one night, and he said it meant the world to him, because it told him how much the coach believed in him and he wanted to prove Babcock right for giving it to him.

Well, just remember that not all of us are air-headed morons who couldn't pour water out of a boot if the instructions were on the heel.
