I think Ozzie has more than earned his spot as our 1st string goalie. Sure, he had a time period where he was off during the regular season, but he took the break, got his head straight and then played amazing for the rest of the regular season. He even said this in an interview and says he won't ever have a time during the regular season like that again. Plus, he was a beast during the playoffs and many times he carried the whole team and gave them a chance. Ozzie fits this team perfectly and rounds them out As far as our back-up, I'm content with keeping Conkles around. He's not a horrible back-up to have.

-Oh well, way I see it, it's Wings 1, Pens 1. -TV off, no way I can stomach Crosby with the cup. This just sucks. -It was a great season. Forgive me if this has been posted before, but does anyone know where I can find the stuffed animal of Al in his Wings jersey? I checked NHL.com but couldn't find it and then I went to Ebay, but I'm not sure if I want to spend $15 plus shipping charges. Help?

I've noticed this too. They have the tendency to do this hot n' cold thing and sometimes it costs them the game. Especially when you only turn the heat on during the the last 10-15 mins of the third. But then, they played like they were panicked and that's what it looked liked to me, atleast during the end of last night's game. They couldn't seem to get the puck in their control and settle it down. I hope we see them come out on fire in the beggining of game 7 but at the same time I don't want them to burn themselves out before the third, which I believe has happened to them before.

I am definitely going to watch it. There's no way I wouldn't unless I had to work which is not the case this time. I'm even cutting plans I made for Friday short so I can be there from the minute the puck drops to the sound of the third period buzzer! Gonna down a lot of booze though, just to calm my nerves a bit lol. I even entered to win tix with a local radio station. Wings in 7!!!!

IMO, I have to go with an 85% chance given the following things happen: 1. Coming out strong in the first period and not just floating around looking confused. 2. Less turnovers(esp ones that lead to a 2-on-1 or a breakaway) at the blue line and in our own zone/tight defense and getting to those rebounds. 3. Shutting down Crosby and Malkin, but keeping an eye on players like Staal, Talbot, Letang and sometimes pigface er I mean Kennedy(also Gonchar when they are on the PP) 4. Trying not to pull unnecessary penalties and if said happens, being better on the PK like the glimpse we got in game 5. 5. Crash the net. Fleury will save the shot each time if you shoot it right at him. Go to the top shelf or the five hole and get to those rebounds. He's horrible at saving them and screen screen screen. We saw how effective that was in game 5. 6. More minutes being on the offensive and take it to them in their own zone. Also, we're at the Joe. Doesn't get much better than that. We'll have the crowd and our, ahem "spring boards" as many rooting for the opposing team say that the Joe has. And if Osgood keeps playing the way he has especially in last night's game, we should have no problems taking the cup. GO WINGS!!!

He was GREAT tonight!!! (Of course the whole team played AWESOME tonight as well) Ozzie: Shutout and an assist. He never ceases to amaze me!! I love this guy GO WINGS!!!

Does anyone have the video or have the link to the footage of Maltby tapping Crysby's gloves as he skated past the Pens' bench? Thanks!
