Ducks have serious issues in goaltending and their d corp. if nashville can contain the RPG line this series is easily theirs. Having Rinne, Weber and Suter makes Nashville the team best equipped to contain that line. and not surprised to see the ducks try to goon it up at the end

no way that will happen. the nhl has already made arrangements with the refs and the war room

is Edzo calling the game?

the common consensus seems to be the 3 way tie rule will apply to all 3 teams. so if chicago wins in a SO, phoenix will be ahead of Nashville
-
are you sure about 6 and 7?
-
that's how i see it. however if chicago wins a shootout, then im not sure what happens, because it will go to the next tiebreaker. not sure if this is good news, if phoenix does indeed get 0 points at SJ, and chicago wins in reg/ot, the wings will face nashville
-
with Doc, wings lose
-
going to predict, tonight's results Nashville beats St Louis SJ beats Phoenix Anaheim beats LA and on Sunday, Chicago beats Detroit That makes the seedings 1. Vancouver 2. San Jose 3. Detroit 4. Nashville 5. Anaheim 6. Chicago 7. Phoenix 8. LA
-
anaheim currently is, but they play LA tmr, and assuming the Hawks beat the wings on sunday, they will overtake either Anaheim or LA (only 1 of them). regardless of the result of Anaheim-LA, chicago will move up one spot if they beat us. that leaves Phoenix and nashville. if they both lose in regulation, chicago moves past both of them. so chicago moves an additional 2 spots up to 5th. however, if only one of phoenix or nashville loses in regulation, chicago will move up only 1 additional spot, up to 6th. if both Phoenix and nashville get 1 point, chicago finishes 7th. i agree with you that Phoenix probably loses to SJ. nashville is on a roll so they should beat St Louis. that will mean we face Chicago in round 1. its late here so i may have made a mistake, but that's how i think it breaks down after all of tonight's results, and updating the standings.
-
that won't happen because anaheim plays at LA saturday. because of that, chicago can only go as high as 5th
-
assuming the wings mail it in for the last game and chicago wins, and if one of either Nashville (at Blues) or Phoenix (at Sharks) loses in regulation tomorrow, the wings will play the Hawks in round 1.

day to day usually becomes week to week for the wings
