i agree. Bettman always likes his young stars, plus the hawks are in a traditional hockey market. He will take them over SJ. It will be funny seeing the sharks complain about the refs the next series. Imagine Nabby trying to dive everytime Buttf***len crashes the crease and nothing gets called. lol

the sharks are going to get a rude shock when they play the Blackhawks. the 4-1 series flattered the sharks, they were not that impressive. I am pretty sure the league would rather see the bright young starts (Kane, Toews) from a traditional hockey market in the SCF. the calls will go the way of the Blackhawks (I can imagine Nabby diving everytime Buttf***len crashes the crease and the refs don't call anything).

what kills me is that people are saying how the wings didn't challenge the sharks in the series since it was over in 5. we didn't deserve to win the series but it wasn't as if because the sharks were terribly impressive. the 4 games they won were by 1 goal and it seems all the tying or winning goals came from a bad call (Seto diving), bad missed call (headshot to Franzen) or bad break (Lidstrom's broken stick). The blackhawks look way more impressive, and will probably give SJ a beatdown

well, at least i got my wish, no sweep. i have to say, i lost almost all respect for Joe Thornton. Everyone says what a nice guy he is, but he has been delivering cheap shot after cheap shot away from the play the entire series, and when challenged to fight hides like a wuss.
