Interesting quote as Holmer was #15 when he first arrived. He gave up the number in 98 when the Wings acquired Mironov. Bowman was here when Holmer was wearing #15. I think the "[w]hen he first arrived" might be in error.

The only frozen four I have been to was at Ford Field. For that you just bought tickets like any other event, ticketmaster.

Draper mentioned in a quote about trying to get him back for it.
-
Because the Alumni games downtown and then the OHL and AHL games wont help out downtown at all....right.

This is from my ticket rep:

I would imagine this ordinance probably would be upheld as a reasonable time, place, or manner restriction of free speech.
-
Ordinances (in the City of Detroit) are passed by the Detroit City Council. And we aren't a democracy, we are a republic.
-
Not exactly, you could be removed from the game, but not arrested.
-
It would still violate the City ordinance.
-
Great clip of Ozzie.

It is a Detroit Ordinance: http://library.municode.com/index.aspx?clientId=10649&stateId=22&stateName=Michigan

I couldn't believe it when a friend called about the cheap tix on stubhub, but just a note, if you have to pick them up at the stubhub office there is an additional $15 charge. I paid stubhub more in fees than I did for the tix, but still a great price.
-
That would make sense about the college kids, I was up near that section (also picked up tickets off stubhub cheap) and heard a few of the U of M type chants started. Pretty cool if this kept up during the playoffs.

I have two of them...not sure of the years but either 97, 98 or 02. Haven't seen the physical cds in awhile as the songs are all on the ipod now...I'll look for the cds and could burn you a copy.

Thanks for the tip...was able to pick one up yesterday at Dicks. Wanted to get the gf a Fippula but they didn't have any.

Just got the email that Hockeytown is the official viewing party of the Wings...so it might be that much busier w/o Joe Vision.
-
What was the sellers' id?
-
Went to Mr. B's last year for the clincher...right on Main street.
-
Boy that must of have been terrible when they brought the cup in and to think you could have been a Hockeytown (although wasn't Hockeytown closed for a private Wings party?)...just one caveat on Hockeytown - I believe in '02 there was Joe Vision - not sure how the lack of Joe Vision will effect the turnout. Debating staying in Detroit or heading up to Royal Oak tomorrow for the game myself.
-
Was at Hockeytown in 02...wasn't too crowded as they use the old second city area to show the game also in theater seats. I believe I got down there about 5 and didn't even have a line to get in...later in the evening there was a line-up outside. Hockeytown has three (I believe) levels [including the roof]. Never really had a bad seat there to watch a game.
