I for one would love to see Babs just keep rolling with all four line. There is a lot of talent from top to bottom of our line up. The more the bottom two lines get at the beginning of the year the more rested the top two lines will be at the end of the year. Going two be lots of fun!

I am surprised it was that positive. Canadian media will never say anything positive about any team out side of Canada. For that matter usually very loyal to only their home team only no matter if they have a shot or not. Gotta love them though because of their passion for the game of hockey.

Couldn't agree with you any more. He has been good, and if it wasn't for Dom coming here he would have been a wing his whole career.

It sure seems to me that with the shoot outs in the game every one plays it safe and doesn't push the play in ot. There should be a lot more at stake if you don't score in ot you're not going to take home any point from the game. Make it an 8 min ot, winner gets 2 loser 0. Shoot outs are exciting, but it take away hOckey in it purest form. Just doesn't seem right.

After being married to a Red Wing fanatic for 20 years she can't help to be a huge fan her self. She watches a lot of games the only exception is the stinking west coast games, but she always knows what is going on in those games because some body forgets others are sleeping and yells at the tv. So she has attended a lot of game including Muskegon hockey Grand Rapids and Red Wings games.

Sometimes you need to do what is best for the player not just who is better. Smith could take the 7th spot but is that what's best for him, no he need mins. If or when someone is hurt he will get some ice time. That's my guess.

With illitch trying to buy the pistons is anyone else as nervous as I am about ice quality? With Pistons one day and wings the next or worse yet one in afternoon the other that night we could end up with crappy ice like a lot of the NHL teams!
