I think resigning Bertuzzi will be a pretty good idea. He had a pretty good season here and with his linemates healthy the whole year, maybe he can produce a bit more than he did this year. Side Note: Has anyone mentioned anything about Miller yet? I haven't seen any reports on what Holland expects to do with him. I'd love to see him resigned because he was a huge anchor on our PK this season.

I have always backed him up through the whole season here and even when he was traded. I love to see that he's doing well and I hope he keeps putting up points. Philly really deserves to go all the way now as much as I hate Pronger. I would much rather see the Flyers win than the Blackhawks or the Sharks.

Surprised they counted that Montreal goal. It seemed like one of those goals they'd say "OH I INTENDED TO BLOW THE WHISTLE, PLAY WAS DEAD".

I tried starting a chant last night early in the game but not too many people joined in.

I was at last night's game and there was a girl in the stands wearing a Crosby shirt so her section was taunting her for it It had nothing to do with the game and I don't think it was during play. I didn't join in but there was a kid in a pink shirt that kept trying to get everybody to do the wave and I think he started the chant at her.

What happened to Ericsson? I mean last season he seemed like a physical D-man and now he almost never hits and when he does, he does it wrong and takes a penalty. Jason Williams was the typical Jason Williams this season. Completely invisibly 90% of the time.

Good post to the OP. I definitely agree. I think that making into a 5th seed and getting to the semi-finals was a successful year with what could have been completely disastrous. The team battled through a lot this year and Howard stepped up big time and will hopefully only get better with more and more time in the NHL. Next year will be a great year.

That game was a joke. I was sure the Wings had it but those 5-on-3s took away every ounce of steam we had.

Hopefully we can pick up our game on the PP because that's where we really suffered last game. We played a good game aside from about 2 minutes so here's to a full 60 minute game. Wings win 5-2 Franzen x 2, Datsyuk, Stuart, Filppula

That 5-on-3 killed us. We should have been able to capitalize on a few of those powerplay chances though, but we just looked awful on the powerplay. Hopefully the refs decide not to fall for the diving next game because that killed an otherwise alright game.

www.mlive.com is the best source, I'd say. They usually have updates from morning skate and everything that other sites don't seem to get or don't feel like updating.

I don't think he was any less or more effective than Semin but Green was playing for the Habs tonight. That much was obvious. lol
