That offsides was not a bad call, he jumped the gun to make sure he was way ahead of Stuart. I don't know if you see an angle that I didn't but it seemed to be the right call, although it was close.

The difference between Columbus last year and Phoenix this year is that Phoenix did not sneak into the playoffs, they are in 3rd place. Also, they don't have a rookie goaltender. Bryzgalov isn't as unproven as Mason was and Mason has shown since last year's playoffs that he's not as good as his regular season implied. Either way, I think it'll be a good series no matter what team we play.

It was my understanding that he did so, so he could work with his son, who was already part of the Blackhawks organization. I might be wrong though.

I really wish Ericsson would have fought Carcillo. The Flyers had their way with us today and it showed. It was embarrassing as a fan to watch.

I would like San Jose or Chicago first round. San Jose because they are notorious for choking in the playoffs and because we haven't had any trouble with them all season even with a depleted lineup. Chicago would be good to get out of the way early, because I think we have a solid chance of beating them. I don't want to face Vancouver in any case. Nashville/LA/Colorado/Phoenix don't scare me much although out of that group, Phoenix seems the most dangerous.

I think Howard would take a necessary discount to stay here if he needed to. Assuming he keeps up this kind of play, he doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would ditch this organization that's spent so much developing him and putting their trust in him for some extra money.

How is this a shot at Ozzie in any form? I read it as this goalie tandem we have is the best it's been since Babcock got here. I don't see where people are getting shots at Ozzie from?

Last few times I've been there they've played "Mama's Room" by Under the Influence of Giants before warm-up. "New Divide" by Linkin Park was played a few times. "Crash" by Decyfer Down was used in the playoffs last season and so was "Hunt You Down" by Saliva.

Definitely not anywhere close to the best. A good move though.
