That was a great tape-to-tape pass sequence by Datsyuk and Zetterberg to Bertuzzi. Too bad it was too hard for Bertuzzi to get a hold of.

I hate these late games. I'm usually up anyway, but the 7pm games are much more convenient.

I would not let Leino go, but I understand if they do. As much of a disappointment he's been this season, I still think he can cut it in the NHL and getting rid of him this quickly would be a mistake IMO.

Filppula plays a role on this team and while he doesn't score that many goals, he is a great playmaker for $3mil a season. I have absolutely no problem with his salary.

I've never seen an arena so happy to go to a shootout in a regular season game.

They don't realize that with the score tied with 5 minutes left in the game and the penalties even, nothing is going to get called unless it's incredibly blatant.

I love that Howard is keeping us in this. I mean, it's too stressful watching all the Penguins' chances but Howard is making a lot of amazing, clutch saves.

Datsyuk's line was not working against Malkin on that shift. Those chances were ridiculous.

Whoever voted for last year's song should be banned from voting this year because last year was just awful. That song was way too bouncy and campy to represent anything of Detroit or our sports teams.
