Okay, so Lidstrom looks good on defense compared to the rest of the league but he does not look like the normal Lidstrom this season which has always been known for his offensive production.

That was a pretty bad time for May to fight.

Should be a pretty good game.

Datsyuk was having a career year until probably two weeks before the playoffs. He got to 97 points and just kind of stopped. I wouldn't say Datsyuk was struggling at all during the season and neither was Hossa. In the playoffs, both were injured and both struggled but Datsyuk struggled more. I would expect more from a career Wing than a rental player, even if his sole purpose for coming here was to win the cup.

Hossa was a rental player that took a gamble on Detroit and Detroit took a gamble on him. Holding a 15 point playoff performance over his head when he outplayed elite players that are mainstays on this team seems kind of ridiculous to me.

Pavel: 6.7mil for 1 goal in 1 game in the playoffs.

4/8 for Friday and 9/12 for Tonight. Pretty good week for me, though Friday could have worked out slightly better.

Great to see Abdelkader stick up for Leino like that and completely lay Perry out. We didn't look to great out of the gate but I'd say this was a big win for the team.
