I think we have a great chance to at least make the playoffs and once we get there, our team will hopefully be healthy and be able to make a push. Realistically, I don't think we can expect to get too deep into the playoffs but as a fan, we have to hope for the best. The core of the team is still there and I fully believe that they will give everything they got to get where they need to be.

Babcock and Henrik Zetterberg disagree with you Besides that, Leino looked great with Datsyuk and Bertuzzi last game (Bert scored after Leino was moved onto his line). He was actually playing Holmstrom's role a little bit and standing in front of the goalie. I wonder if Babcock is trying to teach him the deflection technique our team knows so well

If you're debating between Franzen and Zetterberg, I would go with Zetterberg.

Filppula or Kronwall if you want something different.

Yeah, because they face 17 shots and let in 3 goals. We can't stop the other team from shooting at all. Although, it would be a good thing to try.

I love how everyone expects this team to dominate all the time. Technically we are still dominating in puck possession but the puck won't go in the net. I don't see any need to hit the panic button when our biggest problem is that we can't catch a break to save our lives.

I reached with Pavelec because he's been good for Atlanta this year...but Rinne is excellent. A 2.39GAA in the NHL and a .917SV% is better than decent, esepcially when you play for Nashville. His stats last season placed him in the top 10 goaltenders in both GAA and SV%.

Rinne and Pavelec are both excellent goaltenders.

Osgood. He might not be stellar in the regular season but he is proven in the playoffs when it matters and I don't think you can find a goalie with his hardware that would take less than 2mil.

Datsyuk just seems pretty disinterested right now. I mean even when he scored the other night, he didn't celebrate or anything. He was just like "eh" and then they all went back to the bench. I don't know what's going on with him but he doesn't look like he's having any fun whatsoever like he used to.

Datsyuk is not playing well and they aren clicking on the PP tonight so I don't know if that's a good idea
