Nice play Datsyuk.

Wow...okay

I've had stuff happen from Letsgowings itself, but I don't watch any streams. I've had my browser randomly crash a few times while viewing this site as well.
-
Google released an OS for smartphones known as the Android. The newest (from what I know) is the Verizon Droid. Ustream streams hockey games online, I believe...so now people will be able to watch on their Android phones.

Please don't rush back. We need you, but not if you just re-injure yourself.

Holmstrom and Maltby need to retire after this season. I think we will resign the RFAs besides maybe Meech because we could probably pick up someone better on the Free Agency in the offseason. Lilja probably depends on how healthy he is. If he isn't playing by the end of the season, I don't think he'll be playing anymore. Lebda can go, Bertuzzi and Williams can go. I'd maybe want to keep May considering how great his personality is and how well he is as a fourth liner. Other than that, I would like to see us keep Miller because he has been effective on the PK and could be a good fourth/third liner. He has been working extremely hard since he was signed and it shows.

http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/20...ricsson_vi.html I thought it was a pretty cool article. A nice change of pace from worrying about them talking about what's going on on the ice. The responses are amusing.

I say now that nothing is working, just shake up everything and move everybody. Helm - Datsyuk - Leino Miller - Zetterberg - Cleary Holmstrom - Draper - Eaves Bertuzzi - Abdeklader - May (with Maltby rotating in) These lines look terrible, but moving everyone around like this is at least worth trying in practice.

Realistically, how much will Lidstrom re-sign for?
skyphoenix replied to Miller Brew's topic in General
I say he resigns for 2-3 years for $3-4mil a season. -
I cannot believe we are essentially paying Zetterberg $6mil a season to have 24 points in 23 games. What a waste of money and he hasn't even won a Conn Smythe or gets nominated for the Selke! How ridiculous!
-
Well, Hossa did have 26 points in 20 playoff games with the Penguins in 07-08. He was a huge factor in them getting to the finals that year. I would personally take Hossa over Franzen and I said that at the beginning of last year when there were talks of only resigning one of them.
-
Well, he's showing up like he did for us in the regular season...you know, when he scored 40 goals.

Henrik Zetterberg can't do everything every night
-
Datsyuk is starting to scare me. Yeah, he doesn't have anyone to play with right now, but he isn't playing quite as sharp as he normally is. I noticed he tried the over-the-net pass again tonight which he tried in the playoffs last year when he couldn't score. Honestly, I think he has absolutely zero confidence right now as do most of the players.
-
Glad to see Hossa hasn't lost a step. He's honestly one of my favorite players whether he's on our team or not. He has a great personality and I think he's an excellent two-way forward.
-
Miller is really impressing me lately.
-
Dumb play by Draper, nice save by Howard.
-
Fox Sports + Channel 901 if you have Comcast.
-
I'm thankful that the Red Wings can probably pay the hockey gods half their salary and still not score a goal.
-
Every team we play seems to have a brick wall in front of their goalie and we can't catch any breaks whatsoever if we just so happen to get the puck through the wall to the net.
-
Abdelkader, Miller, and Zetterberg
-
Bert, Helm, and Draper on a line
-
Can't even score when you are in their zone non stop for 2 minutes on the power play and the goalie has no stick. This is ridiculous.
