Do people really not get that its supposed to resemble a road sign? I thought that was pretty obvious. If you dont get that its a road sign, the No Limits part doesnt make sense either. As far as the Hawks go, jealousy goes a long way. Of course they wish that the Wings dominance was over (which it might be this year) but so far we are only 2 points behind Chicago and we have had our team tested pretty roughly already with 2 games against a very hot Colorado club that is leading the West and a week-long road trip to the West. Couple that with injuries to two of our top 9 forwards (one being top 3) and its not too bad to see this team at 6-4-3 right now.

Great list IMO. I think the 07-08 Wings were much better than the 08-09 Penguins. Its kind of hard to say, but in my opinion, the Wings were too battered last year and they still took the series to 7 games. In 07-08 they were just dominating in the post-season and Osgoods GAA was 1.55. However, like the list says no team will top the Wings 01-02 team. Just to look at that roster is astonishing.

Well its pretty hard to argue against him being the hardest working out there. He has looked extremely good this season so far and while it hasnt paid off in his points, it has shown in his play. Eventually though the puck will work its way in and Filppula will get some points when he comes back, especially if he works as hard as he has been.

Thats great for Chelios. Glad to know hes doing pretty well down there.

He needs to play like he did in the last two games consistently and then I will feel comfortable with him in net. You never know what Osgood you are going to get night-to-night so obviously a lot of people feel uneasy about having him as our main goalie with the backup as unreliable as our starter. Not to take away from Howard who was pretty stellar in his past couple starts.

Sounds good to me. We might be a little better without Rafalski in the lineup. I wonder if Janik will turn the puck over 10 times tonight

Well I think the most important part to the best player debate is that 2 Russians can be included in the top 3, with another Russian (Datsyuk) slightly behind them. Russia ftw.

Injuries abound for the NHL. I dont remember the last time so many star players were getting injured at the same time.
