Yeah I think Bertuzzi has looked pretty good with Pavel and Hank but with Williams on the other wing, Im really hoping they both dont get lazy and Zetterberg is left with nothing to work with.

Ozzys GAA needs a boost. I didnt realize it was THAT bad. I see that Babcock is absolutely against splitting up Leino and Filppula which is probably a good idea, but I think throwing Williams and Bertuzzi with Z on the first line is a bad idea. Really hope it works out.

I thought he played pretty well for only playing with Hank and Pav for one day. I mean, at least let the lines get acquainted before you jump the gun and criticize Babcock for throwing Bertuzzi on the first line. I think the team as a whole played pretty well last game.

That was a great game to go to. It was good watching the team play as well as they did. The PK looked like a PP for awhile which was amazing. Leino was all over the puck all night, hes definitely my favorite player out there right now. I loved the lines that Babs went with for tonight as well. It seemed like after the first period they meshed pretty well together.

Penalty Kill improved a lot tonight. Lots of good things and things to work on. Overall, it was a good win.

I dont mind him, but I didnt mind them getting him over the summer. He was pretty cheap and serves his purpose. Hes a pretty good role player.

I would like to see the 2min penalties enforced like majors but one thing I kind of want is if you score short handed, your player should come out of the box on the 2min penalty. Might be a bad idea, but it was an idea in the back of my head.

I dont care what Rodneys numbers were this season, I never feel comfortable when Leyland puts him in to close a game. It seems like he has blown way too many games in his career here. On the plus side, Porcello pitched like a true ace today and deserved to get the win...its just too bad we couldnt close it.

I dont know where you live, but DC Sports in the 12 Oaks Mall in Novi, MI has a plaque that says Kronwalled with the picture. I think it was around $30 but Im not 100% sure.

I had to buy tickets to Saturdays game to see Ovechkin because of how much I like him. Cost me $200 I dont have but hey, its going to be worth it.

Probably pretty upset that they havent beat the Wings in the postseason since 1991 and they havent even qualified for the postseason after the lockout until last season when they got swept. I guess its easy to understand the jealousy since the Red Wings have dominated the Central Division for so long. They get two wins over the Wings to start the season and think they won the Stanley Cup already.

God dammit, just kill a ******* penalty. This is ridiculous.

We cant score 5 goals a game in order to win. Our goalies need to get a lot better than they are right now, especially Osgood who was especially bad in the preseason games he played and now especially bad in his first game of the season. Howard, I never expected to be great, but he showed some promise in the preseason to be decent as a backup. Letting in 4 goals on about 20 shots is just unacceptable.
