The amount of goals that we were losing from Hossa, sammy, kopecky, and hudler were a large drop off though. But if we had huddler we might not have found eaves and millers skills. I love these two guys and they seem like they could help a ton in grinding playoff conditions.

ha ha i am mostly kidding. I do like the pictures and i think when the photoshop wars come during the playoffs those pictures will become very popular. Good stuff.

yea, I don't understand how Lilja got sat today. I though him and big E were playing solid together. Did i miss something that he did wrong.

Yea because if he won today it might of proved that he was moving in the right direction now that we are nearing the playoffs. But he clearly showed that he is the same struggling goalie like the rest of the season. So the thread is about the entire season not just the last game. 2-6-2 is still god awfull. i noticed this too, if someone could find this stat i would be intrested.

Is this post a joke? This is like the 4th time i have said this, but here we go again. You can't get on Howard for having one off game, but you can get on Osgood for having an entire season that is bad. What is howards save percentage on the year and what is Osgoods.

Well if your going with the Osgood is cold excuse, then im going to take the Howard is tired excuse. But what i was actually saying is osgood has sucked all year, howard had an off game. So yes there is a huge difference.

I am hoping it was his injuries holding him back this year. I thought he had one of his best games of the year today. He drove the net a few times and created scoring chances. And i agree that playoffs is when his grinding style really stands out and helps out our team.

I actually have an osgood jersey and am a fan of his, but if he is not performing well then i am not going to just make excuses and defend him just because i like the guy. It actually does kind of upset me, because if Howard and osgoods stats were switched this year you would want to cut howard and never give him another start. But just because osgood used to be an amazing goalie people overly defend him with no justification.

I get it your a Osgood slappy. Your bummed osgood lost, life's a ***** and then you die. But like it or not we are getting WINS with howard in net and LOSES with Osgood in net. Stop living in the past and making excuses just because you like osgood. He isnt getting it done this year and THAT is why he is sitting. He is a veteran and should know better than anyone you have to earn your ice time.

Yea, "absolutely nothing for osgood." They scored 3 goals and only allowed 25 shots in the game. Osgood must not really support the team by your standards, because HE brought nothing today. 4 goals on 25 shots is awful. At one point early in the game the flyers had 4 scoring chances and they had 3 goals. This can't happen if you want to be a starting goalie.

That is such a lame excuse. Howard managed to get wins with our "depleted lineup". Osgood is just played horrible this year and he is not getting it done.

Yep 40 goals is a cancer. Give me cancer if it gets me 40 goals in the NHL and to stanley cup game 7.
