My two cents (not that it matters) is that you have to keep Hudler out there because he's one of the few guys that's randomly capable of scoring a goal. I'd prefer to get Emmerton or Holmstrom out of there -- I don't think either really brings anything to the table right now.

Well ... there's no team that the Wings would beat right now. Nashville, San Jose, Chicago, Dallas -- it won't matter unless something changes big time in the next 3 weeks.

If I didn't know any better, I'd swear that's what they were playing for already. This is worse than Suck for Luck in the NFL.

Either the guys on the current roster start scoring of this team will be .500 at best. Yea, there's some room to make a trade but one guy isn't going to magically turn the Wings into a 5 goal a game team. They're paying Datsyuk, Z, Bertuzzi, Franzen, etc. to put goal up and right now, no one is doing it. There are no quick fixes outside. The guys on the team now have to step up or forget it.

It was absolutely interference and it wasn't even close. Howard also got run into on the save right before that -- which should have been a penalty given the Franzen call. That said, this team is brutal to watch right now.

Did they have to clear a spot for Commodore?

Ryan Johnson? Conner's already agreed to a two-way deal, so I think the Wings would prefer to just start him in Grand Rapids and keep someone else. But I'm usually wrong.

Chris Conner is going to take Cory Emmerton's roster spot at this rate.
