Second time in a week, I believe. Both Ovechkin and Tim Gleason -- I think it was Gleason -- hurt on the play. The guy needs a long suspension. He's just flat out dirty at this point.

More on it: Ovechkin Ejected for Kneeing Gleason/ Probably a 1,000 game suspension.

Still looking for video ... It was similar to Kronwall's injury, Gleason skated past him, he stuck the knee out and clipped him. Only difference was Ovechkin got the worst of it ... he couldn't put any weight on his leg going down the tunnel.

This team is just brutal to watch right now. I'm not sure where the answers are going to come from ... I feel like when the Tigers of 2008 kept saying "Wait until it warms up" or "It's only April" ... and then they finished in last because all those guys they kept waiting to step up never did.
