"Good defensive play there by Conner" and "good defensive play there by Konner" are two completely different things. One has happened several times this game, another hasn't happened in many games this year. -

That period seemed to drag on forever. I looked up when I figured there should only be a minute or two left and the clock still had 9 minutes left on it. Maybe the Wings are as drunk as I am, spring break and whatnot. -

I'm not sure how I feel about seeing Datsyuk and Raffi sore and in against a team that gives us fits- I'd prefer they get a day off to make sure nothing's wrong and, heaven forbid we draw these guys, I don't want them to see our hand yet. I dunno, I just don't want to see any injuries. I'll still call the win. 4-1, Z, Franz, Lids, and Homer on a Lids tip in.

I'll continue with the bullsh*t optimist line... Jimmy's turned the corner and the defense is starting to bear down, the offense is working its way to acceptable. Good god that's hard to say with a straight face.

'tis true. I don't want to hate on the guy's big save or anything he's done for us in the past two months, but I'm completely crazy every time he is tries to make a save - kinda like how I was with Jimmeh there for 6 weeks. But Joey is Joey and Jimmeh is Jimmeh. I'll take Jimmey 9 days of the week. Yeah, I'm hammered. Sorry if that doesn't make any sense.
