I'd do everything in my power to convince him to cut the mustache. Maybe I'd play golf all day and drink beer. I'd get two other people to play along, probably a friend who is a Pittsburgh fan and let the two of them ride in the golf cart together. If he's basically my slave for a day and I'm not going to get any joy out of it, I might as well find someone who would.

This is one of those games that's getting hyped so much, I wouldn't be surprised to see a 1-0 final with someone whose last name ends in -ov scoring the winner.

I was listening to this game without really paying attention and I started to convince myself that this was just a game between Nashville and Minnesota. I'm not sure why... And it's nice to see Jagr is still alive, but it looks like his hair may have to be brutally cut at some point. Edit: verbs and their past-present-future issues.... -

According to kausatoday on twitter, Datsyuk is centering line 1 and Malkin is centering line 2. Nice! (This is a sad attempt for finding a reason to bump this so it'll be easier to find tomorrow morning.)

I don't see "Ohio" listed as any of the countries listed, so I'll go with Belarus. Not that I'm anti-Sweden or anything, but seeing Salo get head-whacked cracks me up every time.

If you asked last year, I would have been all for him retiring after his contract was up, but he's played with more heart than the almost any other player on the team. He may not have the skills, but the hustle is a quality that we really needed for the regular season this year, and it seemed like Maltby and Draper were two of the few who understand that.

Damn.... I just spent the last hour trying to crop Lilja's face onto the "I Choo Choo Choose You" Simpsons Valentines Day card and then I come here to find he's not playing... Ah well, I didn't get anything worth using, but I can't wait for Lilja to get back!

I still haven't lost hope and I feel like an idiot for it. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I keep thinking that the softer feel of the Olympics could ignite our scorers and some of our defense can get healed up and congeal. We're a much better team than how we're playing, I don't think we "suck."

Maybe the thinking is "if May isn't playing tomorrow, then he isn't going to be playing when the Olympics are over because we need the cap space for Lilja." That only makes sense so far as you don't expect Olympic injuries, though. I dunno
