I trust imaginary All-Star game to Pavel. You should, too.

Best news since 2008!

It's Jimmah time! 4-1, Z^2, Bert, and Jimmy Howard with his 1st career goal when Leino, unsure of whether he's scratched or not, keeps jumping on and off the ice from the bench, making everyone scratch their heads.
-
You're probably right, but it still brings back some good memories.
-
Is that from a game in Columbus?! I think it is... My dad took me to that game as a birthday present. I remember cracking up when I saw that kiss.
-
He's definitely been more committed this year, probably due to necessity, but still... his passes, especially across the ice from in the defensive zone, have looked terrible. There's no way to measure the intangibles he's given to this team over the years- just tonight with the shot block showed his guts. Hopefully he can stay on as a PK coach or something.

It's Ozzah time! 4-1, Z^2, Bert, and Ozzie scoes his 2nd career goal when Lebda surprises everyone when he finishes a check, causing Theodore to pass out from shock.

It's Jimmah time! 4-1, Z^2, Bert, and Jimmy Howard with his first career goal when Turco gets caught out of position and forgets where the net is, so he engages Lebda in a conversation about futility and the meaning of life. -
It's Jimmah time! 4-1, Z^2, Bert, and Jimmy Howard with his first career goal when the 'Canes get distracted because Ericsson has had enough of Lebda's 'lazy ass bulls***' and decides to drop the gloves on the bench.

This is awful. I don't care how long you've been off, there's some fundamentals that you don't forget.
-
...Ozzie?
-
This is just brutal.

Islanders announcers are terrible. This guy is talking like this game is hockey porn. Is beating the 9th place team in the West really that amazing? Not to put the Wings down, but this guy's just waxing eloquence. If I heard an announcer for a team I liked doing that, I'd mute the TV.

He reminds me of Brad Stuart from the finals last year, and that's something I never want to remember.
-
Thank you very much, Mr. Lidstrom.

If you want to look at some positives, Eaves, while not being sharp by any means, has been all over the ice. His legs are taking him there, but his hands aren't making the passes. Danny Cleary is showing some rust. I'm not sure it's such a great idea to have him and Flips on the same line right now, they both seem like they're readjusting and it may be slowing them both down.
-
Well...

I like the idea of having Draper and/or Maltby fall down. It blocks passing lanes and increases their value.
-
Yeah... he kinda had to, though, he got caught pinching pretty bad.

I could really see Howard cooling down after the Olympics, no matter how much I don't want him to. It'll be hard to take time off without even having practice opportunites with Z/Dats or any of the other elite scorers on our team. I think that if Jimmy comes out hot after that time off, we need to ride him while it lasts.

It's Jimmah time! 4-1, Z^2, Bert, and Jimmy Howard with his first career goal on a 150' goalie paddle slap shot made possible when Brett Lebda, carrying the puck, runs himself into the boards and is subsequently not able to stand up for two minutes, causing all the Islanders players to double over laughing. Howard's slap shot is recorded at 102 mph when it goes into the net. Taveras scores an empty netter with 30 seconds left when Mike Babcock's heart grows three times bigger that day.

Flip drives me insane... SHOOT!

I want to cry some

Our offense looks like the Blue Jackets.
