Benn slipped through 4 Blue Jackets to deposit a goal. Benn is an incredibly fun player to watch. 3-2 Dallas with 3 minutes left.

Ericsson isn't playing that poorly either. Many of his mistakes are magnified because of the quality of the play of the rest of the defensive corps. It's like the 2008 roster-you can carry a guy like Lebderp and he can succeed if there aren't any holes around him. But there is no way I would pull Kindl under any circumstance in favor if Commodore right now. Kindl looks like he may have a breakout year.

I'd really like to see Colorado win big on Reimer. Every off season, I get the idea that it would be nice to see the Maple Leafs turn it around but... It would be so much more fun to see them struggle. Plus, there can't be a Red Wings-Avalanche rivalry with only one hockey team.

I think Holmstrom is going to have a sore back in about 3 months. So sore, in fact, he'll have to go on IR.

Nice game. I don't remember having so much fun watching a team play hockey in a long long time. They just look like they're having fun, and so am I.

I actually thought that PP2 was looking better than PP1 at the end of the game. I'd say they've been more unlucky than anything.

I really want to see the defense stay tight. It's much less aggravating to watch when they aren't constantly out of position.

I laughed when Mickey was hoping for a PP goal with 30 seconds left "for the percentage." They aren't executing now, but I'm not worried yet.

Howie knew how much speed he had to knock off the puck, he just wanted to make it dramatic.

I like having Hudler on the point. I'm not a big fan of Ericsson and Stuart being on the ice at the same time because I feel like they have the same weakness- puck handling behind the net.
