How many of #40's playoff goals have been empty netters? He seems to be money in this situation this postseason. Even when other players have 2 goals and a shot at the hat trick its always Zetterberg putting it away.

Yeah i just went through all the box scores and he has all 4 Red Wing EN goals so far this post season.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining....I was just curious how many EN's he's had this postseason so far. I missed most of the 1st round because I live in NM and don't have any hockey package, just VS.

Once again, a low-cost veteran solution that doesn't disrupt the core or future of the team in any way. Signings like this are why this franchise is continually succesful.

If the Wings don't resign him they'll end up trading for someone just like him at the deadline, giving up pics and prospects. Just keep the known quantity here. Skilled 2 way d-men are a premium in this diluted league.
