Wonder how long Stortini will be in the AHL.

The person below me game...

That I do. The person below me wants to see more of the scrappy Ericsson. -
The same can be said for Bertuzzi. I just wish the guys with size would use it on occasion.

Chicago is reportedly looking for a defensive defenseman. Wouldn't be surprised if they brought back Jim Vandermeer. -
Matt ******* Carkner.
-
99% of us would love this guy if he came back to Detroit, including myself.

Nothing wrong with the occasional riot.
-
Kovalev will get hurt too, you watch.
-
In that case, Kindl for Erskine.
-
This made my day.

You trying to start a riot?

If he gave 120% every night, he would be one of the better players in the league, but he is the definition of inconsistent and lazy, alongside Nikolai Zherdev. -
With Nashville potentially looking for upgrades at forward, i wonder if there will be any room for him. Maybe he's even dealt away?
-
Niklas Hagman, maybe?

The 2007 Ducks team had the perfect blend of skill, grit, and defense. Pronger, Niedermayer, and Bauchemin anchored the defense. Getzlaf, Perry, Penner, and Kunitz all could put the puck in the net and muck it up as well. Selanne and McDonald were the finesse guys. Moen, May, Parros, and Thornton were solid defensively and were relentless on the forecheck. Marchant and Pahlsson were the face off and defensive specialists. Toronto is far from that now, obviously. That was a great team. Obviously, he has made some less-than-terrific signings (Lebduh). I think Sjostrom is on his way out, in exchange for more picks. It's still a rebuilding process right now, undoubtedly.

Unfortunately, no The person below me digs political music. -
What would Hudler get us?!

I haven't really been impressed with him, either. I don't see him as a part of the team in the future. Smith could be ready to go as early as next year. I think Kindl will be trade bait, maybe he can thrive elsewhere, because he's not going to get a ton of playing time with guys like Lidstrom and Rafalski eating up the amount of ice time they do. Maybe he is dealt to a rebuilding organization where he is given more free-lance.

Will Kelly serve as an extra forward? Where is he gonna play? Last time I checked, Boston's roster looked quite jammed.

I like Marc Methot from Columbus and Theo Peckham from Edmonton as well.

Bleacher Reports Top 5 Captains of All Time

Stevens and Yzerman were the definitions of a captain. They'd sacrifice ANYTHING to help the team win, great locker room guys. They both had a way with words and knew when to speak up. -
Five years, $26 million for Big Buff in Atlanta
Bring Back The Bruise Bros replied to a topic in General
I think Atlanta may regret this down the road. He's had a good season but...yikes. At least he stays in the east and we wont have to see him very often -
Maybe he's looking at another deal with Philly, to trade those picks back for Dan Carcillo

Brown just signed an extension with them, so I dont think he's going anywhere. Could be wrong though. I don't think Brown's a horrible fighter, but he's nothing great, in the fighting department. However, he plays solid defensively, which is why I think Burke wasted no time in negotiating a contract extension with him. Komisarek and Phaneuf aren't in Toronto solely to fight. Phaneuf's a decent open ice hitter. He's got a bomb too, although his offensive statistics have severely dropped. Komisarek has been a disappointment so far in his tenure in Toronto, but he's still fairly young (29). I think Voros will be an experiment for the rest of the season, and if he doesn't impress, he'll be let go in the offseason. If he proves a valuable asset to Toronto's future, i'm sure Burke will work to keep him in Toronto. The shuffling is far from over in Toronto.
