Even when hes playing on the 2nd line, he is just invisible out there. I was thinking maybe Filppula would help him re-discover his game, but I think he just needs a change of scenery.

Speaking of Anders, did he hang 'em up? Last year he played, but that was the last I had heard of him.

6'1", 225 pounds. 1,075 penalty minutes in 492 career games. Not an awful lot, and he scores a couple goals a year, so I guess its debatable on whether to place him in the "Pure goon" category or not.

I know what you mean. Just another dumbass rule. I wonder exactly what will happen if you disobey,this rule..i doubt they kick you out of the game for touching the glass.. -

Agreed. I say boycott the ban by not buying seats right on the glass. Have a ton of home games, where no on the glass seats are filled. That will change their minds about the rule pretty quick. When people go overboard with it, its annoying, but nothing that big.... -
Decent scrap! Erskine is one of my favorites. I've always wanted to see him here. Like I said in a different thread, its good to see goons like Boulton sticking around in today's NHL. I'd say there's only like a handful of pure goons in the NHL today.

Really excited about this kid. Watched a few of his fights from this season, and he is looking solid. Had a hat trick not too long ago, so he seems to be able to do it all. Hopefully we'll see him in a Wings uniform soon. Some people thought his development would slow down this year, but its looking like another gem of a pick by Detroit's scouts
