Derek Boogaard and Steve MacIntyre went toe-to toe twice, both pretty good scraps. John Erskine and Eric Boulton had a hell of a scrap, as well. Good to see the goons like Boogaard, MacIntyre and Boulton sticking around. The pure goons are a rare breed in today's NHL, but they're not extinct yet

After tonight, they're even. -
Minor news, but Boston has placed Brian McGrattan on waivers, and Montreal has placed Dustin Boyd on waivers, as well. Boyd is a -6 in 9 games with Monreal this season. McGrattan has not suited up for Boston yet this year.

Doesn't matter what he "potentially" can do. Its what he actually does, which is little..3 points and a -6 in 11 games so far. You quit being dillusional. 2.8 million for what hes bringing right now is beyond overpaid.

Minor news, but news nonetheless. O'Byrne sent to Colorado for a prospect. With Foote and Hannan both out, there have been whispers that the Avs would acquire some help. O'Byrne's nothing flashy, but a decent fill-in guy until Foote and Hannan get back.
