Well with the limited cap space,I don't see Kariya taking that heavy of a paycut.Yes,he signed wicked cheap with Colorado back in 2003-2004,but he signed so cheap specifically to play with Teemu Selanne.I think of Kariya as a top 6 guy,and he won't get top 6 playing time. -

Yes,Bolland was injured for a good chunk of last year,but when the playoffs came around,he was the definition of clutch.I wouldn't be totally against trading Filppula for Bolland.I still wouldn't trade Cleary for Bolland until we find out how Cleary does coming off his bad campaign last year. -

And the "trade Cleary" stuff continues.Bolland is clutch,no doubt about it.But I wouldn't trade Cleary yet.This year is make or break for him in my mind.He was hurt last year,so I say give him a chane this year.If he fails to produce this year,let the rumors and suggestions begin. -

Yeah that's what people have been saying and I've noticed that in the values of the cards from the '90s that I have looked up.Wicked overproduction I guess.The Modano RC is worth a few bucks right now,and you figure its value will go up once he retires and is inducted into the HHOF.Same with Sakic's cards.Once he gets inducted,the value of his cards will increase. -
One defenseman who is wicked overpaid,but can battle with anyone is John Erskine.I've always really liked him.

As much as I would've liked to see Boogaard here,no fourth liner is worth a cent more than $1 million.That's just absurd.I heard he got an even LARGER offer from Edmonton before he signed in New York.Just ridiculous.An goon is never (in my mind) worth $1 Million or more.Just boggles my mind.
