Colby Armstrong isn't worth $2.8 Million,and he sure as hell isn't worth $4 Million.There's better,cheaper options for the 4th line.I'd rather seen Armstrong take Bertuzzi's place on the 3rd line before Bert re-signed.I'm sticking with Boogaard,Asham,Winchester,Nystrom,or Konopka for the 4th line. -
I think Ryan Hollweg will be a regular in Phoenix next year,especially with Winnik being dealt.Hollweg re-signed with Phoenix a few weeks ago.He spent last year with San Antonio of the AHL,but its looking more and more like he'll have a spot on the Coyotes roster next year.

We have enough centers as it is.Were gonna need to dump off another center such as Filppula(?),a prospect such as Ritola,and probably a pick,and that won't even get us to Savard's 4 mil.

I think Clarke MacArthur is going to be one of those guys sent to San Jose.From what I hear,Atlanta was not impressed with his performance last year.

San Jose is indeed really high on Frazer McLaren.I wonder if they plan on re-signing Scott Nichol and Manny Malhotra.Both Nichol and Malhotra add extra grit to the lineup,but I have to think the Sharks will go out and sign at least 1 more bottom 6 guy.

As far as the salary issue goes,bottom line is we shouldn't be paying a 4th liner a mil,no excuses.That's what I like about Boll and Konopka is that they both can skate relatively well,throw hits,fight anyone,and chip in a little bit on offense,for ~ 600 K.Absolutely ridiculous to spend so much on a 4th liner.

I'm hoping for Winchester as well.We shall see.The Blues 4th line is gonna be tough next year,with the assumption of Janssen and King re-signing.With the loss of Winchester,St.Louis could put King in his spot. -
