I agree,Abdelkader needs to ditch the windshield.But as long as he takes the bucket off before he starts throwing,I'm fine with it.He won't get any respect when it comes to the rough stuff if he's gonna be throwing with a visor on.

I think Abdelkader will start the year centering the 4th line,and maybe by the end of the year,Babs moves him up to the 3rd and Helm down to the fourth.Abdelkader has offensive upside,and I think once he starts to show a little more offensive skill,he'll find himself centering the 3rd line. -

I think Miller and Ritola are gone.I still don't like the idea of Artyukhin,he just takes way too many lazy penalties.I like the idea of Winchester tho.Konopka and Nystrom are still at the top of my list. -

Have they even sent Boll a qualifying offer yet?Maybe they plan on just trading him.How about Boll and big defenseman Mathieu Roy for Drew Miller's rights and Derek Meech.Maybe Columbus will re-sign Mike Blunden and just let Boll walk? -

Boston's top 6 is going to be top-notch next year.Gregory Campbell is a solid,feisty bottom 6 guy.Florida got a good all around defenseman in Wideman.I'm expecting the likes of Weiss,McCabe,and role players like Tarnasky to be getting shipped out as well

Well if there was any sort of hope for Wild fans that Boogaard would be back,its been shot down with Minnesota trading for Brad Staubitz.

With Kenny indicating he's looking at a few guys that are willing to drop the gloves,skate,and put up a few points,a guy like Brad Winchester comes to mind.He is a heart and soul guy,won't back down from anyone,and I think he would be a good fit in Detroit. Any thoughts?

No way Horton has more talent than Franzen.Horton doesn't have the greatest team surrounding him and I think he can be a good solid player,but he's not Johan Franzen.Horton's work ethic has been question in the past,I think a change if scenery will greatly benefit him.
