Political candidate?pssht yeah right.that stuff is overrated.I'll become president of the KHL and give Hudler a 10 year,$500 Million contract since he is the next Gretzky.With his ferocious forechecking and his constant hustle on the backcheck.Not to mention Hudler's 200 point season the last time he clucked in Detroit.oh wait....he's never hit 70 points?really?a player with Hudler's legendary potential has yet to hit 70 points in a season?gimme a ******* break. -

With July 1st approaching,the KHL seems to be in contract negotiations with Ilya Kovalchuk.Its become an annual thing for a few NHLers to bolt to Russia every offseason.Some guys that have been rumored to be heading to Russia are: Ilya Kovalchuk (like mentioned) Slava Kozlov (getting old,may have the intentions of finishing his hockey career back in his homeland) Brett Lebda Glen Metropolit Anyone heard anything else?I'm interested to see who will go to Russia this offseason.

That's what I'm thinking.Maybe he'll start out next year with just the plain helmet.I just don't wanna see another Clutterbuck type guy running around acting big and bad and hides behind a visor when challenged.I hope he'll ditch it altogether,but if he drops the helmet and visor before every fight,I'd have no problem at all with it. -
