Boll seems like a possibility.Skates well,hits whatever moves,not afraid of anyone.He doesn't seem to have as much offensive upside as a guy like Eager tho.

He's not a horrible skater and he will throw with anyone.As we saw last night,he can put the puck in the net occasionally.I'd be thrilled to have Ben Eager in a Wings sweater next year.

Bert wouldn't hurt a fly.Someone that will play hard on both ends of the ice,finish checks,and have 2 hands on the stick,decreasing bulls*** turnovers,would be excellent.

I can't imagine any Avs or Hawks fans were rooting for us in the Finals last year.....

With Hudler returning and a healthy Cleary next year,Bert will most likely play on the 3rd line as Cleary and Hudler probably rotate 2nd line duty.Bertuzzi,imo,doesn't have nearly as much grit and effort on defense to play 3rd line.Let Bert go,and a few players that would fit nicely in his place would be: Andrew Ladd Colby Armstrong Jason Chimera Eric Nystrom Owen Nolan All these guys are fairly responsibly defensively(doesn't take much to be able to hustle more than Bert),hit,fight occasionally,and put up a few points here and there.The only guy on that list that I think could hit 40 points tho is Colby Armstrong.Maybe Nystrom?

Andrew Ladd Dave Bolland John Madden Ben Eager Adam Burish Colin Fraser Patrick Sharp Most if not all of those guys could be gone come this summer.

It would be sweet if we got Armstrong,but he wouldn't be the "gritty 4th liner" would he?I thought we were heading towards a guy that will fight a bit more.
